Benjamin Storset Unleashes Hugely Euphoric Single ‘Escape’!

Benjamin Storset has not been on the scene for very long but with his releases, he has proved to be a highly talented rising artist. He opened his journey with the wonderful progressive house track ‘Malaysia’ and followed it up in fine fashion with ‘Through The Mountains’ and ‘Smoke and Ash’. With these three releases, Benjamin Storset set himself within the progressive house scene and his signature sound fits perfectly there. “Growing up my favourite band was Avenged Sevenfold, along with several metal bands such as Bullet for my valentine and so on. This music planted a seed of interest which gave me the urge of mastering an instrument. After learning every song of Avenged Sevenfold by ear on guitar and drums, I eventually understood what was making my attention gravitate towards these bands. It was fundamentally strong arrangements building up tension with flawless melodies, which is what I’m trying to recreate in a genre on the opposite side of the spectrum.” says Benjamin Storset

After hitting the Spotify Viral 50 in his home country of Noway with ‘Smoke And Ash’, Benjamin Storset makes his 2020 with ‘Escape’. With his release, Benjamin Storset continues his fine form of releases with yet another magnificent progressive house track. He opens the single by introducing us to a blissful melody that is joined by smooth arps. As the track progresses, Benjamin builds tension with rising synths and climatic snares. The drop then hits and it doesn’t disappoint, as he ops to use euphoric synths and uplifting melodies over hard-hitting sounds and the sense of euphoria is perfect in that sense.
