Benjamin Storset Unveils Uplifting New Vocal Anthem ‘With You’ ft. Otto Palmborg!

Wanting to take his previous single ‘Escape’ to the next level, Benjamin Storset was on the hunt for a vocalist to turn the instrumental track into a vocal anthem. Gaining over 150,000 streams in a matter of months, Benjamin felt a vocal version would please the fans of the original. However, when he came into contact with Otto Palmborg, the idea of a vocal version to ‘Escape’ was dismissed. Within 30 minutes of discussion, a new chord progression was created and ‘With You’ was in creation.

“It was very challenging in every single way. Usually, I produce the drop first and then work my way back to the intro, so kind of a backward approach for me to the production part. However, this time I had an intro and some chords which would be the verse, so my familiar working pattern was pretty much a whole new journey from the start.” said Benjamin “It took 2 months to finish the song. My projects have always been based on a melody that I use as a starting point for building on. The fact that the lyrics were done, and I still wasn’t able to come up with the melody yet was scary. Suddenly out of nowhere, something came to mind that was fitting the arrangement. In the end, I`ve never been more excited to release a song.” he continued.

‘With You’ kicks off with Benjamin using an elegant chord progression as he lets the vocals from Otto take center stage. The single then builds as Benjamin adds more and more flavor into the mix while subtly building towards the drop. When the drop arrives, we are blown away, as euphoric and uplifting synths take center stage and truly top this track off perfectly.
