Rising artist Emily Perry has just released her new single ‘Not Up To Me’. The 19 year old Billboard charting singer from Australia is quickly becoming an act worth keeping an eye on. Keeping solid company, she’s already worked with Grammy winning producers who have crafted mega hits for Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Pink, Beyonce and more. With three Billboard Dance Chart hits and a top ten appearance on the UK Commercial Pop chart, Emily Perry continues to make an impact. Likened to a mix of Katy Perry and Zara Larsson with an 80’s hybrid sound thrown in, she is quickly building a global following.
Recorded at the Write Key Studios in Northern California, ‘Not Up To Me’ was produced by Gekko and co-written/produced by Lynniah Herron and will be distributed by Sony‘s Orchard. Emily‘s songs celebrate girl power in a way that encourages her millennial fans to embrace her as one of their own. Her upcoming release, ‘Not Up To Me’ continues this theme and tells the story of not being taken for granted and using your power. “I think that anyone listening to this song will find familiarity in its story and hopefully the strength to make a change if they need to” explains Emily. With her unique, charismatic tone and raw authenticity, the song is perfect as an anthem for standing up for yourself in a relationship. Emily spent a large chunk of 2018 touring, firstly with her own tour, the Summer On Lock Tour and then with High School Nation for their Fall Festival Tour, all of which saw her performing in 13 states across North America. Her music has had over 3 million in-store plays in 2018 and her first Christmas single, ‘Jingle Jingle’ was featured in the movie Homegrown Christmas.
