10 years after its release, Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash and John Martin’s 2012 progressive house anthem “Reload” has received an infectious trap cover, courtesy of rising talents 32Stitches and blklght. The two producers have each been taking over electronic music over the past years, with releases on massive labels, millions of streams and unique identities, that have allowed them to amass large international fanbases.
As the two artists explain, “Reload” was an instant classic for them back when it was released, so it was only fitting for them to team up and work on a cover. Out via Trap City, “Reload” nicely maintains the original’s explosive feel, while infusing it with 32Stitches and blklght’s otherworldly production. The result is a melodic trap banger that shouldn’t be missed, and further solidifies 32Stitches and blklght’s dominance within the scene.
“Back when Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash dropped ‘Reload’ in 2012 it was an instant classic for us. An anthem you would expect to hear at almost any club or festival because everyone was dying to hear it. It’s always tough working on something as historic as this because you want to do the song justice. We knew it was going to be tough but we wanted to see if we could bring back the song with a new flavour and introduce it to an audience that may have never experienced it before, or bring back that nostalgia for those that had,” say the artists.
