Brod James Releases Powerful yet Funky Production ‘WHYD’!

Brod James is back with a reignited flame and an undeniable drive. The Albanian native began his journey in Italy where he fostered a love for both EDM and hip-hop and eventually began creating it himself in 2012 after seeing his stepfather do the same. Inspired by innovative artists such as Tiesto, he was previously known by the moniker Boja and focused heavily on the atmosphere of the records more than anything. If the music did not resonate with the listener and give them a feeling of some kind, it just was not worth it to Brod. After years of lacking results, he considered dropping it all in 2018 before a trip to the US to visit his stepbrother changed his perspective. There he saw him creating music as well, and it was then he realized that if the passion and joy are present, it should not matter what the streaming numbers are. Reinvigorated and rebranded as Brod James, the twenty-two-year-old electro hip-pop musician now residing in England has just dropped his debut single, ‘WHYD’, debuting a fresh brand of electronic music in the process.

With this single being the first under his new alias of Brod James, he has the perfect opportunity to introducer listeners to a new sound and he does it in an exceptional way. ‘WHYD’ features an infectious saxophone topline which grips the listener from the beginning. He then pairs this with subtle yet powerful female vocals and groovy basslines. Overall a groovy tone that comes across with tons of power through out, we feel this was the perfect introduction to Brod James as an artist and we are happy to have come across this single.
