Shortly after receiving support from big industry names such as The Chainsmokers, Blinders and Teamworx, Cafeteria Frietsch treats us to a brand new production. Together with his close friend, JM PROSOUND, the two artists deliver a high quality production which is available for free. Two artists, halfway across the world from each other, who became best of friends during the time they were both making amazing mashups as well as collaborating. They have flown to visit each other and produce in the same studio. They have finally gotten to a point where they finished something original that had been one of the things on their bucket list since becoming friends. For their first official collaboration, the American and German artists prove to have insane chemistry as they combine in a way that some artists would only dream about.
‘Velvet’ is a high end, progressive house anthem as it’s finest. It kicks off with soft piano chords and an arpeggio synth. They are shortly joined by powerful vocals which are used as the main event for the break down. As the track progresses, Cafeteria Frietsch and JM PROSOUND then build towards the drop with climatic risers and builds. The drop then hits with no disappointment as uplifting and euphoric synths take to the forefront. The infectious melody played by these synths is memorable and helps this track to stay in your mind for the hours and days to come. Both artists make a statement as to why you should keep a close eye on them with this production.
