As Calvin Harris’ album, “Motion“, turns 10 years old, it’s a suitable moment to reflect on the impact of this groundbreaking work, released on October 31, 2014. Following the massive success of his previous album, “18 Months“, which featured a variety of chart-topping hits, “Motion” solidified Harris’ status as a leading figure in electronic dance music.

“Motion” is a masterful collection of Harris’ hit songs that showcases hit ability to blend various rhythms and vibes, making it accessible to such a diverse audience. The album includes hit singles such as “Summer”, “Blame”, and “Outside” each of which topped charts and dominated airwaves for months, further proving Harris’ consistency for creating memorable melodies and club-ready anthems.

One of the standout tracks, “Under Control”, featuring Alesso and Hurts, perfectly captures the album’s energy. With its catchy rhythm and uplifting lyrics, the song became an instant favorite, resonating with listeners around the globe. The collaboration exemplified Harris’ talent for pairing his production prowess with powerful vocalists, creating tracks that are both memorable and danceable.
