Jax Jones’ WUGD imprint welcomes a fresh collaboration from two of the scenes brightest young talents, Irish multi-instrumentalist Chaya and French DJ/producer Kungs. Their new record, ‘Sickness’, is backed by surging momentum following Kungs’ huge 2021 single ‘Never Going Home’ and Chaya’s solo material, collaboration with Jay Pryor on Selected, and remix of WUGD boss, Jax Jones.
Originally created during a studio session in London and featuring in label boss Jones’ BBC R1 Essential Mix earlier this year, ‘Sickness’ has quickly gained support from established and emerging talent from across the scene.
Fusing a medley of broken beats, rumbling basslines, and sweeping synths beneath captivating vocals and airy melodies, ‘Sickness’ harnesses a melting pot of influences and sonics as the pair deliver a sure-fire future anthem in the process.
