Chemical Surf Returns In 2021 With ‘Madness’ For Its Own Label R.I.P. Genres!

At the end of last year, the Brazilian brothers Lucas and Hugo aka Chemical Surf presented their new label, R.I.P. Genres Music, followed by the first release, ‘Interestelar’, in partnership with Ghabe and Theff‘s vocals. Now, they return to the Brazilian scene with the second release of the label, the track ‘Madness’, being also a collaboration with Ghabe, which is now available on all digital platforms.

“This track is another partnership with Ghabe, a young artist from Manaus that we are making several collabs. He has sent us a lot of cool ideas with original vocals and the combination of our sound and his has given an interesting result. ‘Madness’ came from an idea that Ghabe sent us to add our footprint. We tried to do something that would work in the clubs, but that would also be pleasant to hear anywhere”, says the duo.

The track has the main vocal with pitch down, along with a heavy bass characteristic of the Brazilian style of Chemical Surf, in addition to the pads and some elements with the influence of deep house.

The second collaboration was also full of synergy between the artists. “It was a great pleasure to work with them again! We continued with the partnership created on ‘Interstellar’  and the result was even better”, adds Ghabe.

As the first release of R.I.P. Genres Music, ‘Interestelar’ got great support and already has more than 1 million plays on Spotify and more than 3 million views in the official video clip on YouTube. Replacing the world stage for hours in the studio, the brothers had an intense release schedule last year, with ‘Pow Pow Pow’ in partnership with Kaskade, ‘Paranauê’ with Zafrir, ‘Time’ via the Belgian label Smash The House, and ‘Senses’ in collaboration with FFLORA on Spinnin’ Records, to name a few, in addition to six other tracks and the official remix of the classic ‘We No Speak Americano’, at the invitation of the duo Yolanda Be Cool.
