CHVRCHES Calls Out Marshmello For Working With Chris Brown & Tyga + Response!

Shortly after releasing their very addictive and fresh track ‘Here With Me’ which gained over 100 million streams since, CHVRCHES took to social media to share their thoughts on Marshmello working with Chris Brown and Tyga on his latest release ‘Light It Up’. In 2009, Chris Brown turned himself in to authorities and was arrested after beating his then girlfriend, Rihanna, leaving her with visible facial injuries which required hospitalization. Back in 2013, Tyga was sued for sexual battery, fraud, invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress by one of the women in his ‘Make It Nasty‘ music video. CHVRCHES responded to the release of this single by sharing the below statement.

CHVRCHES received tons of support from the music scene for the above statement. Chris Brown decided to comment back at the statement in a way that none of us could have expected. The artist said “BUNCH OF LOSERS. these are the type of people I wish walked in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients”. We’re not sure this is the best response from Chris Brown, however it does prove CHVRCHES point about avoiding working with these types of artists. A screenshot of the comment can be found below.
