Bubbling up with swathes of infectious house that take a bottomless dive into the abyss, the top line vocals of “I’m falling down/ when you’re not around” repeating over deeper ripples of almost progressive synths, acts as a dancefloor-ready antidote to the emotion-grabbing lyrical message. As stretches of swirling melodies pulsate and grow, ‘Anxiety (Help Me)’ cracks the whip into overdrive as layers of deep electro add a metallic sheen to the ever-climbing apex.
With a personal message behind the single, CØDE said: “5 years ago I had multiple panic attacks! For a year I suffered a lot with it! I wasn’t ashamed and looked for medical help! After this Pandemic, several artists suffered with it and this song isn’t only dedicated to them but also to everyone who suffers from this problem! I want to remove the shame and blame from the discussion around mental illness diagnoses! This track it’s really special for me because of it! Hope you enjoy!”
