Although this is his debut single under his newly created Colezy alias, this is not the first time that the 26-year-old artist is gracing our new music feeds, previously releasing hits under the name of Dopium. With the global pandemic shutting down the dance music world for 2 years, it was the perfect time for Colezy to lock himself away in the studio and he’s finally ready to show the world what he has been working on.
Carefully crafted and prepared specifically to be his debut single, ‘Going Crazy’ is as good as it gets when it comes to dance music anthems. The single holds multiple subtle styles within the production but it’s the deep house and dancey vibes that take centre stage with catchy vocal hooks adding a super addictive tone. Created during lockdown with just a laptop and a handful of plugins, Colezy proves that if you’ve got enough talent and some big ideas, it’s more than possible to create professional tracks with an inexpensive bedroom set-up.
