With the electronic dance music festival scene on hold, the final nail has been put into the festival-coffin as UK-based mega-festival Creamfields has been canceled. With the cancellation of Ultra Music Festival (Miami), Tomorrowland Winter, Tomorrowland (Belgium), EDC Las Vegas, and many more, EDM fans were holding out onto the final festival of the summer season, Creamfields, to go ahead. But unfortunately, it seems that the entire festival season will not be taking place as with this cancellation, there are no festivals taking place this summer.
It is not all bad news for those who wanted to attend Creamfields 2020, as they have revealed that attendees can either; receive a full refund, or retain your ticket and receive a voucher to spend at the 2021 edition. Along with this cancellation, Creamfields has also confirmed several acts to appear at the 2021 edition. Names include Dutch superstars Martin Garrix and Tiesto, masked phenomenon deadmau5, the highly energetic Timmy Trumpet and Eric Prydz‘ must-see ‘Holosphere’, among others.
