Curbi Unveils Melodic House Track ‘Lose Our Minds’ ft. Jess Ball on Monstercat!

House scene-shaper Curbi continues on his uphill trajectory today with the club-ready single, “Lose Our Minds” featuring Australian breakout vocalist Jess Ball. An entrancing medley of melodic sounds backed by a steady groove, the single embraces Curbi’s virtuosic sound design with hypnotic synths and minimal techniques, opening the floor for Jess Ball’s mesmerizing vocals. This follows Curbi’s punchier bass-house singles on Monstercat including the recent “Flying” and fan-favourites “Vertigo” and “Breathe,” which have earned him over 20 million streams collectively. Teaming up with Jess for the second time, the pair have fused their infectious lyricism and magnetic energy on what’s sure to be a chart riser and set staple all summer long.

Jess Ball adds, “‘Lose Our Minds’ is about the tension that can be created when people feel vulnerable or insecure. Sometimes we preempt what people are going to think about something and make up our minds about a situation before it has even played out. By assuming how someone will react, we may be creating a problem that wasn’t even there in the first place.”

Since the age of sixteen, the versatile stylings of Curbi have taken the house scene by full force, garnering support from headliners like Martin Garrix, Tiësto, and Don Diablo. Making career-defining moves to achieve his debut European headline tour and shows across Asia this year, Curbi recently played to packed crowds at Tomorrowland and Parookaville, and will next bring new music to Goldhill Festival and Mysteryland in August.

Whilst honing her celebrated talents as a solo pop vocalist and a high-fashion model, Jess Ball has also made a name for herself across the dance music space. One of her earliest releases, “I Found You (Neptune)” with EDX, hit #1 on the Future House Beatport charts as well as #38 on SiriusXM’s Top Electro Songs of the Year. Spanning previous collaborations with iconic names like NERVO and headline gigs at Northcote Social Club and The Curtin, she’s a multifaceted force to watch this year.
