UK based artist Niall Auld began his journey under the moniker of Killed Kassette in 2013 and was quickly snapped up by Kevin Saunderson‘s legendary KMS record label. More recently Roush, Armada, Twisted Fusion and Criminal Hype have all come calling for his original productions as well as a surge of remix requests. Fast forward to 2017 and his releases which draw influences from rave, techno, break beat and house have shown no sign of slowing up, having remixed for artists such as Chez Damier, Kevin Saunderson and Roland Clark along the way.
With support for his sound coming from all quarters of the scene including Sasha, Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez, Hector Couto, De La Swing and many more. Now playing out regularly with a gig schedule taking in some of the UK’s favorite underground clubs, this artist is living up to his name and killing it.
For this groovy remix, Killed Kassette teams up with the upcoming American talent Dantiez, and when combined these two artists blend exceptionally well. Right from the offset, they introduce us to rhythmic kicks and samples which set the groovy tone for the rest of the remix. As the remix progresses, they add more and more soulful samples which add to the overall groovy tone perfectly. This remix transitions between each of its sections seamlessly and when combined with the wonderful synth work through out, it makes for a really interesting listen. Keep a close eye on both of these artists as Dantiez and Killed Kassette have got more stuff coming soon.
