Defected Imprint Sondela Recordings Announce Dubai Residency At FIVE Jumeirah Village’s The Mansion!

Sondela, the recently launched afro-electronic imprint of the iconic Defected Records, is launching a marquee new residency at The Mansion, part of FIVE’s whimsical Jumeirah Village in Dubai. This is set to be the first-ever Dubai residency for the Afro-electronic label, with managers Sef Kombo and Louie Dunmore set to bring their brand of kinetic and percussive flare to the inaugural event on Thursday, October 13.

In its brief history, Sondela has successfully exposed the addictive grooves of Afro-electronica to new audiences, immersing crowds in the captivating sounds and powering sold-out dancefloors at iconic venues around the world, from London’s Ministry of Sound to Ibiza hotspot Bora Bora, the standoutnow sets its sights on Dubai’s lavish and visionary nightclub, The Mansion.

The Mansion made a real splash in Dubai with its vibrant 1920s style but continues to impress with its equally deluxe lineups. The venue is found on the ground floor of the premiere celebrity hotspot, FIVE Jumeirah Village hotel, often attracting the world’s most famous DJs to play for the venue’s star-studded crowd. Now linking up with Sondela for a head-turning weekly party, The Mansion is cutting no corners in giving attendees an over-the-top experience to remember.
