Demayä Alex Lowen Hold On B-Side

Demayä and Alex Lowen join on ‘Hold On (B-Side)’, a deep, percussive Afro-House cut that fuses intricate rhythms with dancefloor energy.

A strong collaboration between Producers/DJs, Demayä and Alex Lowen, ‘Hold On (B-Side)’ lands on Calamar Records. Fusing deep percussive grooves with refined sonic detailing, the track offers a warm, hypnotic blend of Afro-House and driving energy, a production that speaks to both the dancefloor and the introspective listener; an emblem of creativity, collaboration, and forward-thinking sound.

With a reputation for pushing boundaries and demanding more from his own creativity, Demayä has established himself as a confident, genre-defying Producer, weaving a tapestry of influences to shape a distinct yet cohesive signature sound. Drawing from substyles like Afro, Organic, and Minimalist, whilst introducing hints towards ethnic rhythms and Berlin-styled grooves, he has carved a sonic identity that reflects authenticity, musicality, and originality, earning support from the likes of Damian Lazarus, Keinemusik, and Black Coffee.

For Alex Lowen, this joint collaborative project marks the next step in his continuously evolving journey: with over a decade of international experience spanning Europe, the US and the Middle East, he has become a familiar face on the circuit, supporting high-profile DJs like HUGEL whilst aligning with a variety of VIP names within the studio, including Mark Knight and James Hurr

Now, through this latest offering, Demayä and Alex Lowen unite, complementing one another’s diverse approaches in a blend that moves fluidly across cultures, bridging Demayä’s rhythm-driven, globally inspired palette with Lowen’s versatile, culturally expansive sensibilities.

Through ‘Hold On,’ the pair deliver a production that feels equal parts unique, globally resonant, and dancefloor-ready, the kind of track with an energy dynamic that expands throughout: keeping movement, momentum, and drive at a constant interplay. As stacked percussion meets a dystopian-like low-end, the arrangement continues to drive ahead, weaving in spoken vocal layers, stuttering textures, expansive pads and an undercurrent of pulsating motifs. With a fluid yet distinctly ominous sound, ‘Hold On’ demands attention, carving out a journey where dark sonics collide with commanding details and groove-rich energy.

Ready to land with impact, this new track signals a bold artistic synergy between two artists driven by emotion, craft, and a shared sense of musical identity. With both Demayä and Alex Lowen carving their own distinct paths within the genre, this collaboration respects their individual identities while embracing a shared commitment towards innovation, creating music that explores fresh ground and reflects the breadth of their influences and artistic vision.

RAMI Loudr Black Moon Renaissance Release

RAMI and Loudr merge Afro house’s primal pulse with driving melodic techno on their magnetic new collaboration, “Black Moon,” out now on Renaissance.

When darkness meets rhythm, something magnetic happens, and RAMI and Loudr capture that exact energy in their latest release, “Black Moon”, out now via Renaissance. The track stands as a testament to the duo’s shared vision of merging Afro house’s primal pulse with the driving momentum of melodic house and techno.

Before ever stepping into the studio together, RAMI and Loudr were already mutual admirers of each other’s sound. That creative respect set the foundation for “Black Moon” — a collaboration that feels as organic as it is powerful

“The night inspired this track,” the duo shared. “When we made this with the bass line and kick, we immediately knew it was something dark. Before Enea and I met, we were already supportive of each other’s music, so we decided to collaborate and create something different. We wanted to have a mixture of both of our sounds that are Afro house and melodic house techno, and I think we did a good job integrating both, making this a peak weapon to draw our listeners into its pulsating, otherworldly flow.”

From the very first kick, “Black Moon” pulls listeners into a hypnotic sonic orbit. A deep, rolling bassline forms the backbone, while shimmering synths and textured percussions illuminate the edges like faint lunar light. The production is sleek and cinematic! Indeed, a masterful balance between groove and mystery, perfectly aligning with Renaissance’s signature sound palette.

In a landscape where melodic and Afro influences continue to converge, RAMI and Loudr carve out something that feels both familiar and fiercely original. Their chemistry radiates through every beat, which proves that when two creative forces collide under the right alignment, the result can be truly stellar.

“Black Moon” by RAMI & Loudr is out now on Renaissance (@renaissance.dj), a label renowned for pushing the boundaries of underground sound. Stream it today and let its dark allure guide you through the rhythm of the night.

Avohee Avoher Malami

Fresh off the release of his euphoric trance anthem ‘Forever Together’, Avohee Avoher returns with ‘Malami’, a fusion of EDM, Afro House, and world influences that’s already turning heads across the global dance community.

Following his debut ‘Bajo La Luna’, which recently charted in the UK Upfront Club Chart Top 10, and the 90s-inspired ‘Forever Together’ with UK dance stalwarts Luv Foundation (UK), Avohee Avoher continues to expand his sonic universe. ‘Malami’ arrives as his most ambitious release yet, an evocative blend of Arabic and oriental textures woven into a hypnotic electronic framework. The track has already climbed to #4 on the Traxsource Electro House chart during its pre-release phase, signaling another breakthrough moment for the rising producer.

Deeply layered and emotionally charged, ‘Malami’ showcases Avohee Avoher’s signature classical mastery, transforming intricate melodies and rhythmic subtleties into an immersive listening experience. The production is both haunting and captivating, a multi-dimensional soundscape that bridges cultures while remaining firmly rooted on the dancefloor.

As Avohee Avoher continues to gain global traction, with support from DJs and radio tastemakers worldwide, including the personal endorsement of Eddie Gordon (Kings of Spin LA), ‘Malami’ reinforces his growing reputation as one of the most versatile and emotionally driven new voices in electronic music.

In a time when depth and emotion are often overshadowed by formulaic trends, ‘Malami’ serves as a reminder of what true connection on the dancefloor can feel like, uniting rhythm, soul, and storytelling into one powerful moment of release.
