Hi I'm Mackenzie and rather unsurprisingly, I love electronic music. After over 10 years of blasting my ears with everything from Martin Garrix to San Holo, I've found myself forever digging deeper into this world. If I were to name my top 5 favourite artists I'd say Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, The Prodigy, Hardwell, and Avicii make up that list. Alongside writing I'm also a producer who makes whatever comes to mind. Big room house, drum & bass, hardstyle, it's all fun to dig into. See you out in the fields people :)

DJ Sammy Releases New Dance Single ‘Magnetised’

DJ Sammy Releases New Dance Single ‘Magnetised’ as he explores toxic attraction and the pull of returning to someone you know is wrong

With his new single “Magnetised,” DJ Sammy combines heartfelt lyrics with modern dance energy, telling the story of an intense attraction that remains impossible to resist despite all the warning signs. The release follows the push and pull of a connection that keeps turning back on itself, moving between closeness, doubt, and the feeling of knowing something will end badly but still being unable to walk away. Built around the line “So tell me why I’m magnetised to you,” the track places that emotional conflict at the center while bringing DJ Sammy back with a modern dance release under MyClubroom.

DJ Sammy’s Global Dance Legacy

DJ Sammy releases Magnetised with more than two decades of dance music history behind him. He has sold over 20 million records worldwide, with his breakthrough single Heaven becoming a major crossover success in the early 2000s. The single sold more than two million copies across Europe and Australia, reached No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and later went to No. 1 in the UK. His follow up, The Boys of Summer, also reached No. 2 in the UK, adding another major chart record to a career closely linked with vocal dance music and international club audiences.

Alongside that chart success, DJ Sammy has remained active across the global club circuit, with festival appearances, international club shows, and residencies at BCM Planet Dance Magaluf, Es Paradis Ibiza, and Privilege Ibiza. He was also ranked in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs, placing No. 92 in 2005 and No. 61 in 2006, while his MyClubroom radio show was voted the most popular radio show by DJ Mag Spain. That background gives Magnetised a clear place in his catalogue, as the single returns to the emotional vocal dance style he is known for, this time through a story about toxic attraction, doubt, and going back to someone even when the warning signs are clear.

At the center of Magnetised is the point where a person already understands the damage a relationship is causing, but that awareness is still not enough to make them leave. DJ Sammy places the song in that uncomfortable space between knowing and acting, where someone can read the warning signs clearly and still feel emotionally attached to the person creating the pain. The line “So tell me why I’m magnetised to you” works because it does not treat attraction as something exciting or easy to explain. It sounds more like a question someone asks after repeating the same mistake too many times, especially when the relationship keeps moving between closeness, doubt, and losing control. That is where the single gets its emotional weight, because the conflict is not only between two people, but inside the person who keeps going back.

What makes Magnetised fit Sammy’s catalogue is the way it puts that conflict into a vocal dance record without turning the subject into a simple breakup story. The song looks at the part before someone finally cuts ties, when the emotional pull is still stronger than the decision to walk away. That gives the title a clearer meaning: being “magnetised” is not just about attraction, but about feeling drawn toward someone almost automatically, even when the outcome already feels painful. Through MyClubroom, DJ Sammy brings that idea into a 2026 release that keeps the vocal hook at the front while using the production to support the tension in the lyrics. It gives Magnetised a direct storyline, with enough emotional detail for listeners to recognize the cycle without the song needing to spell out every part of the relationship.

With Magnetised, DJ Sammy is set to return to the kind of vocal dance record that has remained central to his career, this time through a storyline built around toxic attraction and the struggle to break away from someone who keeps pulling you back. The single takes its main question from the line “So tell me why I’m magnetised to you,” giving the hook a clear emotional purpose instead of treating the attraction as something simple or romantic. Due for release through MyClubroom on June 19, 2026, Magnetised adds a new 2026 entry to Sammy’s catalogue while keeping his connection to emotional dance music at the front.

David Morales & Tiger Wilson Release ‘CRAVIN’’

David Morales & Tiger Wilson Release ‘CRAVIN’’, a soulful house single rooted in New York’s gospel, R&B and club music tradition

Grammy Award-winning producer, DJ and House music pioneer David Morales teams up with New Jersey singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tiger Wilson on ‘CRAVIN’’, a new Soulful House release on DIRIDIM set for June 26, 2026. The single brings classic NYC-inspired grooves together with rich vocal soul and deep musicality rooted in gospel, R&B and House tradition. With Tiger Wilson’s expressive vocal delivery at the forefront, ‘CRAVIN’’ highlights the meeting point between David Morales’ long-standing production style and Tiger Wilson’s background as a vocalist, musician and songwriter connected to the New York House scene.

Inside David Morales And Tiger Wilson’s Soulful House Link Up

‘CRAVIN’’ centres on Tiger Wilson’s vocal delivery, giving the record its emotional pull through phrasing that carries clear gospel and R&B influence without moving away from its House foundation. As a New Jersey singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Tiger Wilson brings a musical background that fits naturally beside David Morales’ production, where the groove is classic and club-minded but still leaves space for the vocal to lead. The result reflects a meeting of House music craftsmanship across two generations, with David Morales’ production style and Tiger Wilson’s songwriting sensibility working through a shared language of soul, rhythm and musicianship.

Tiger Wilson’s connection to the New York House scene gives ‘CRAVIN’’ more context beyond the single itself. His work spans Soulful House, R&B and gospel-influenced music, with past collaborations involving David Morales and Timmy Regisford, alongside appearances on ‘In The Club’, ‘Masterpiece’ and ‘Burning Hot’, records that became staples at The Shelter in New York. That history places ‘CRAVIN’’ within a lineage of vocal House where the singer is not treated as decoration, but as a central part of the record’s identity, helping explain why the collaboration feels rooted in musical experience instead of surface-level genre references.

The Extended Mixes Of ‘CRAVIN’’ Give The Release More Club Range

‘CRAVIN’’ is presented across the ‘Loop Mix’, ‘Reprise Version’, ‘Loop Dub Mix’ and ‘Vocal Dub Mix’, giving the single more life beyond its main version without moving away from its Soulful House identity. For a record led by Tiger Wilson’s vocal performance, the extra mixes matter because they do not all need to treat the voice in the same way. The full vocal side can hold the song directly, while the dub and loop versions can pull more attention toward the groove, percussion and arrangement underneath David Morales’ production. That gives the release more use in club settings, especially for DJs who want the feel of the record without always playing it in its most vocal-focused form.

The ‘Reprise Version’ also adds another layer to the release because it makes room for the musicality connected to Tiger Wilson’s background as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. That detail matters in the context of a Soulful House record because the genre depends on more than a vocal line sitting over a beat. It needs phrasing, rhythm, arrangement and feeling to work together without one part flattening the rest. The ‘Loop Mix’, ‘Loop Dub Mix’ and ‘Vocal Dub Mix’ help show how ‘CRAVIN’’ can move between those uses, giving David Morales space to work the record for club play while keeping Tiger Wilson’s contribution tied to the identity of the single.

The additional versions give ‘CRAVIN’’ a stronger club function by separating the vocal, rhythm and instrumental details across the release. The ‘Reprise Version’ places more attention on the musical side of the track, while the ‘Loop Mix’, ‘Loop Dub Mix’ and ‘Vocal Dub Mix’ give DJs versions that can work in different parts of a set. For a Soulful House release led by Tiger Wilson’s voice, that range matters because the song does not lose its character when the vocal is reduced, repeated or placed differently in the arrangement.

By closing the release with this wider set of versions, David Morales and Tiger Wilson keep ‘CRAVIN’’ connected to both songcraft and club use. The single carries the soul and gospel-rooted vocal identity introduced through Tiger Wilson, while David Morales’ production gives it the structure needed for the dancefloor. Released on DIRIDIM on June 26, 2026, ‘CRAVIN’’ brings its classic NYC-inspired grooves, rich vocal soul and House tradition into a format made to move beyond one listening moment.
