Following its Ibiza debut at [UNVRS] in 2025, the Top 100 DJs Awards return to the venue on October 6. This year’s ceremony will once again center on the announcement of The World’s No. 1 DJ. The winner will also play a special set after DJ Mag announces the result. ANASTAZJA, Lost Frequencies, Korolova, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO and Vintage Culture will perform throughout the night. The ceremony will also recognise leading names across house, techno, trance, harder styles and more.

Top 100 DJs Returns to Ibiza for a Second Year

After hosting the ceremony in Ibiza for the first time last year, [UNVRS] welcomes the event back for a second consecutive edition. David Guetta took the No. 1 position in 2025 for a fifth time. The result placed him alongside Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, who have also topped the poll five times.

Last year’s ceremony also came during the opening season of [UNVRS], which launched in May 2025 under The Night League. Less than a year later, the venue reached No. 1 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs 2026 poll. It became the first club to take the top spot within 12 months of opening. The awards therefore return with [UNVRS] now holding its own No. 1 title from DJ Mag.

Adding to the occasion, the ceremony takes place during one of the final weeks of the venue’s 2026 season. Top 100 DJs LIVE comes between Armin van Buuren presents A State Of Trance on October 5 and Jamie Jones presents Paradise on October 7. [UNVRS] then continues toward its closing weekend later that week.

More Than Three Decades of Top 100 DJs

Long before the awards reached Ibiza, DJ Mag introduced Top 100 DJs in 1993 for the magazine’s 100th issue. What began as an editorial list later became a global public vote. Now in its 33rd year, DJ Mag describes it as the world’s largest publicly voted music poll. Voters can choose any five DJs without a nomination shortlist or eligibility criteria.

Voting for the 2026 edition opened on July 8 and closed on September 16 at 23:59 GMT. Attention now turns to the final ranking and its live reveal in Ibiza. The top position carries extra history this year, with David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren tied on five wins each. Another victory for any of the three would create the first six-time winner in the poll’s history.

Alongside the overall No. 1 position, the ceremony will recognise artists across several genres and achievements. Categories include The World’s No. 1 Trance DJ, Hard DJ, Techno DJ, House DJ and DJ Group. Highest New Entry, Highest Climber, Future Star and Outstanding Contribution will also be presented during the night.

A Global Lineup Surrounds the 2026 Awards

For the 2026 edition, ANASTAZJA, Lost Frequencies, Korolova, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO and Vintage Culture make up the announced lineup. Their performances bring several areas of electronic music into the same event. Once DJ Mag announces The World’s No. 1 DJ, the winner will also play a special set at [UNVRS].

The Ibiza edition combines the live performances with the awards throughout the night, continuing the format introduced at the venue last year. That gives the newly crowned No. 1 DJ the chance to perform immediately after receiving the title while the rest of the lineup continues around the ceremony.

With voting now closed, attention turns to October 6 and the announcement of the final results at [UNVRS]. Tickets and VIP bookings for Top 100 DJs LIVE are already available through the venue, with the event beginning from 11:30 PM.

deadmau5 takes over Red Rocks for Halloween on October 30 and 31 with two special shows and the return of mau5hop

For more than 15 years, deadmau5 has returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre each fall, with the Colorado venue becoming a regular part of his seasonal live shows. This year, that tradition reaches a new point as he performs at Red Rocks on Halloween itself for the first time, with DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN taking place on October 30 and 31. The two-night event will feature VOWWS, joined by Josh Freese and Danny Lohner, alongside special visuals, selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. The weekend will also include the return of the mau5hop pop-up in Denver, with exclusive merchandise, collectibles and meet-and-greet sessions across both days.

VOWWS Joins deadmau5 For The Halloween Shows

VOWWS will join deadmau5 across the two nights, with Josh Freese and Danny Lohner also part of the performance. The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based duo of Matt James and Rizz have long worked across darker alternative and electronic sounds, with previous collaborations involving Gary Numan, Chino Moreno and Chelsea Wolfe.

Josh Freese, whose credits include A Perfect Circle, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails and The Vandals, also appears on VOWWS’ latest album I’ll Fill Your House With An Army. Danny Lohner, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails and The Black Queen, will join the duo at Red Rocks as part of the expanded live lineup.

What deadmau5 Has Planned For Halloween

The October 30 and 31 shows will feature special Halloween visuals alongside selections from deadmau5’s catalogue and new music. Attendees are also being encouraged to come in costume across both nights.

The shows add a new chapter to deadmau5’s long history at Red Rocks, where his fall appearances have become a regular fixture over more than 15 years. He was back at the venue in 2025 for Day of the Dead, where he debuted new music and parts of a new touring production.

That period has continued into 2026 with ‘Science’ featuring Stevie Appleton, his first vocal single since ‘My Heart Has Teeth’. The track later reached No. 1 on US Dance Radio and also entered Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay and Canada CHR/Top 40.

mau5hop Returns For Halloween Weekend

The Halloween weekend will also include the return of mau5hop in Denver, opening on October 30 and 31 at 95 S Cherokee Street. The pop-up will run from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM each day with specialty merchandise, limited-edition apparel, pins and collectibles not available online or at the shows.

deadmau5 and friends are also due to appear for meet-and-greets and signings from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM on both days.

With the Red Rocks shows and mau5hop both returning across Halloween weekend, this year’s edition adds more around a tradition that has already become closely tied to deadmau5 and the venue. The biggest difference in 2026 is simple: for the first time, one of those shows will actually fall on Halloween night.

With VOWWS, Josh Freese and Danny Lohner joining the shows, new music expected and mau5hop returning to Denver, DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN has plenty planned across the weekend. Limited tickets remain for both nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, with more from deadmau5 also expected in the months ahead.

BETH Turns Up the Energy With New Single ‘Wait’

Scottish producer BETH returns on The Cross Records with new single Wait, following a breakout 2026 of festival slots, Ibiza dates and Radio 1 support.

In the space of a year, BETH has gone from respected up and comer to a genuine festival act. Her debut on The Cross Records, “Keep It Movin’,” is closing in on 1 million streams, and she’s kept up a steady run of releases on labels like TSHA’s Jackfruit, Eats Everything’s Edible, and Melon Bomb Records, along with a well received remix of Karen Harding’s “Island.” That output has earned her support on BBC Radio 1, with plays from Sarah Story and Arielle Free.

Her live schedule has kept pace too. This year she’s played TRNSMT Festival, Sub Club, Cabaret Voltaire, and SWG3 in Scotland, Mas Que Nada in London, and Lakota in Bristol, plus Ibiza dates at Hï, Cova Santa, and Pikes.

“Wait” marks a step forward in her production. Where “Keep It Movin'” leaned into sultry, harmonic melodies, “Wait” goes bigger and brighter, built around euphoric piano chords, a driving 90s inspired break, and deep reese bass. It’s a feel good summer record from an artist whose rise shows no signs of slowing down.
