Rumors have been circulating online regarding a possible return to DJing for Hardwell, ever since an unknown masked artist appeared at Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano‘s event at ADE. “Mr. X” appeared and performed for the live crowd with many fans in attendance taking pictures of the unknown artist. The image which can be seen below looks very similar to Hardwell, who stopped touring indefinitely over 1 year ago.
These rumors reached higher heights as Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano posted a photo with Hardwell on their Instagram, confirming he was in attendance and in turn making online discussions ever more interesting.
However, in a turn of events, Hardwell‘s manager Anna Knaup responded to these rumors with the following: “I would like to officially confirm that whilst Robbert did make an appearance at SJRM’s ADE party, he was not there to perform but merely there to support his friends’ event and to enjoy the night. However, we are very appreciative of the amazing love and interest shown by the fans, promoters and media writers around the rumor of what so many of you felt was his return to the DJ booth.”
Anna ended her statement with: “Robbert would like to assure you all that you will be the first to know if, and when, he decides to make a return to DJing,” thus, giving fans hope that he may be making a return soon.
Hardwell also responded to these rumors and shut them down.
