DJ duo me n ü releases euphoric new single ‘IT MIGHT BE THE DRUGS’

me n ü, the innovative female DJ, production, and writing duo composed of twin sisters, is once again making waves in the dance music scene with their latest single, ‘IT MIGHT BE THE DRUGS’. Known for their distinctive “hope house” style, me n ü blends uplifting and emotive elements with infectious dance beats, captivating audiences worldwide.

Their journey into music production began during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time that allowed them to hone their skills and explore various genres. About a year ago, during a creative rough patch, the twins decided to dive into the world of dance music—a genre that was entirely new to them. With no expectations, they released their tracks to see what would happen, and their bold leap of faith has paid off in remarkable ways.

Since launching their social media profiles at the end of October 2023, me n ü has quickly built a dedicated fanbase, amassing over 37,000 followers on TikTok and 62,000 on Instagram. Their debut single, ‘JUMP’, has already made significant waves, earning airplay on Sirius XM Chill and debuting on Beta BPM New Music with Liquid Todd. The track has inspired over 100,000 creations on Instagram Reels and received extensive editorial support on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora.

Building on this success, their latest single, ‘IT MIGHT BE THE DRUGS’, is gaining even more momentum. The track has been added to Spotify‘s “Dance Rising”, “New Music Friday Dance”, and “Women of Electronic”, Apple Music’s “New In Dance” and “Breaking Dance”, Amazon Music’s “Fresh EDM” and “Fresh Dance”, and Pandora’s “New Electronic”, “New House”, and “Deep House”. It even graces the cover of Pandora’s “Women In Electronic Music” playlist.

“IT MIGHT BE THE DRUGS is all about the euphoria of being young and alive. We wanted to capture those priceless moments—seeing someone across a crowded dance floor, driving at midnight in the summer with the windows down, dancing at a festival with your best friends”, the duo shared.

me n ü continues to captivate audiences with their innovative approach to dance music, blending heartfelt melodies with irresistible rhythms. As they push the boundaries of the genre and connect with fans worldwide, their journey is a testament to the power of creativity and perseverance. With a growing discography and an ever-expanding fanbase, me n ü is poised to become a formidable force in the electronic music scene.
