Don Diablo Announces Involvement In Theatre Production ‘Forever Young’!
This autumn, Fourmation Entertainment presents its groundbreaking theatre production, combining Don Diablo’s genre-bending music and inspiring storytelling in an interactive and high-tech theatre experience. From the dance floor, the audience will experience the intense love story of superstar Liam Nova and his talented childhood sweetheart Julia, as they grapple with the darker side of fame and the impact of social media. In November, Fourmation Entertainment will stage the first previews of this spectacular theatre production at a secret location in Amsterdam. People can register for the exclusive presale on the website www.foreveryoungtheshow.com. Only a limited number of tickets will be available – the general public will be able to see ‘Forever Young’ in 2022.
This futuristic crossover has been developed by a top creative team that includes director of music Don Pepijn Schipper (Don Diablo), Broadway and West-End star Anthony van Laast and creative director Timor Steffens. The show and its scenario are the brainchild of theatre impresario and creative producer Sjoerd van Schooten. Writer and trendwatcher Mabel Nummerdor also co-wrote the scenario.
Don Pepijn Schipper (Don Diablo): ‘The story of Forever Young is very close to my heart. As an artist I’ve had years of experience with the lighter and darker sides of the modern age. We now live in a time where everything seems possible, but these endless possibilities also come with the price of constant pressure. The digital revolution offers plenty of opportunities, but also an equal amount of challenges. Mental health is an important theme and something we all need to continue to work on. Together. Forever Young is a next-generation love story presented in a one-of-its-kind futuristic theatre show. Our aim is not only to appeal to the audience’s mind but also to hit them in that special place in their heart.’
Timor Steffens: ‘In Forever Young, there’s no dividing line between the audience and the cast, which makes it a real creative challenge. With dancers from different disciplines and in various roles, two talented main players and the audience as an ensemble: that’s how we create our story. The technology, audio, video and special effects add the final touches to this interactive spectacle This show really moves us on to the next level and I simply can’t wait to take our audience on this visual journey, make them think and get them moving.’
Anthony van Laast: ‘Our show marks a break from traditional theatre by using electronic music, modern technology and dance to tell a highly relevant and modern story. I’m passionate about sharing the Forever Young experience with the audience and can’t wait until we open our doors.’
In ‘Forever Young’, the storytelling gets to grips with an urgent theme faced by young people worldwide: the issue of mental health. In it, we follow superstar Liam Nova, whose route to personal success causes him to become increasingly alienated from himself and those around him, including his talented childhood sweetheart Julia. This is a story that connects people and offers hope for the future. The actors playing the leading roles of Liam and Julia will be announced at a later stage.

Music On Festival 2026 Cancelled Just Hours Before Opening
Music On Festival 2026 has been cancelled after the Municipality of Amsterdam revoked the event’s permit hours before it was due to open its doors.
Music On Festival 2026 has been cancelled just hours before it was due to open its doors, after the Municipality of Amsterdam revoked the event’s permit this morning. The festival, scheduled to take place across 9 and 10 May at Meerpark Amsterdam in partnership with Loveland, will no longer go ahead. Thousands of ticket holders who had already made travel plans to attend are now being urged not to travel to the festival grounds, as entry will not be permitted.
The announcement came via an official statement shared by the Music On team on social media, who described the news as “devastating.” The organizers confirmed they had no prior warning, stating they only received the information themselves earlier today and were given no choice but to cancel. The statement did not specify the reason the Municipality of Amsterdam chose to revoke the permit, and the full details behind the decision remain unclear at the time of writing.
Music On is the festival arm of Marco Carola‘s long-running Music On brand, which has become one of the most respected names in techno and house music. Having previously held its Amsterdam edition in association with Loveland — one of the city’s most established electronic music promoters — the festival had built a loyal following among fans of underground dance music across Europe and beyond.
The cancellation comes as a significant blow, not only to attendees who had invested in travel and accommodation, but to the wider electronic music community in Amsterdam. The city has faced growing scrutiny around event permits in recent years, and last-minute revocations of this kind raise serious questions about the relationship between large-scale music events and local authorities.
The Music On team has promised to update ticket holders as soon as possible regarding next steps, including information on refunds and any further developments. No reason has yet been given by either the organizers or the Municipality of Amsterdam for the permit revocation. EDMHouseNetwork will continue to follow this story as more details emerge.

STBAN teams up with Billy Ronca for hot Latin number ‘YAMEKITE’
STBAN and Billy Ronca release ‘Yamekite’ via FLAMENCA Records / Toolroom Records, a rolling Latin electronica track built for Ibiza terraces and club dancefloors.
Fresh from the success of his Javi Torres and Alba Dreid collab ‘Habibi’, FLAMENCA Records boss STBAN continues to build the hype with latest single ‘Yamekite’, out today via distributor Toolroom Records.
This time out, the label head shares the stage with reggaeton and Latin rap star Billy Ronca. Born in Brazil, raised across Europe and now based in the heart of Puerto Rico working with reggaeton icons Baby Rasta y Gringo, Ronca has steadily built his reputation as a singer and writer to watch out for. Teaming up with STBAN in the studio, the result is another hit in the growing FLAMENCA catalogue.
“This song is about self-love and awareness,” Ronca explained. “Sometimes we’re the ones who put people on pedestals they never deserved, and when that happens, it’s up to us to bring them back down. It’s a reminder to protect your energy, choose good vibes, and not waste time on people or situations that don’t add value to your life. Life is short, everything is temporary, and we shouldn’t get stuck in negativity.
“The line “era pa’ siempre que me tuviste” reflects a contradiction that tells a deeper story — two people living the same relationship with completely different intentions. For one, it felt like forever; for the other, it was just a moment.
“Even though the lyrics are simple, the message goes deeper: it’s about self-respect, emotional clarity, and knowing when to let go.”
Ronca’s sun drenched vocals and fluid rap are a perfect foil for STBAN’s steadily building production. Gentle guitars strum across rolling percussion, Latin brass shimmering and sizzling in the background as STBAN gradually turns the energy up. It’s a gorgeous slice of hot Latin electronica perfectly timed for the opening of the European summer season.
“We’ve just been in Ibiza and the reaction to the track was amazing,” the FLAMENCA Records label boss said. “It’s the perfect track to get the terrace session going or dial the heat up on the club dance floor. Another great addition to our FLAMENCA Records discography.”
STBAN & Billy Ronca ‘Yamekite’ is released May 8th on FLAMENCA Records via Toolroom Records.

DHALI & dagi Release ‘Ibiza, Circoloco’ on 23 Hours
DHALI and dagi release ‘Ibiza, Circoloco’ via 23 Hours, a groove-heavy club track born from a TikTok that went viral and sparked over 50 unofficial remixes.
German DJ/Producer DHALI today releases ‘Ibiza, Circoloco’ with dagi, via independent German music label 23 HOURS. The record captures the golden-hour energy of one of Ibiza’s most storied dancefloors.
Evolving organically through the momentum of online communities, DHALI and dagi bring one of the most exciting viral-to-club moments of the moment into its final form. It started with a TikTok filmed on a jog – dagi singing an unproduced topline over no beat, just a melody and the now trending vocal. The clip amassed millions of views, over 50 unofficial remixes followed, hundreds of creations, and the demand for an official release became impossible to ignore.
DHALI, who counts over 40 million cumulative streams, is known for his unique blend of Afro-house, Latin house, and melodic house. DHALI translates the energy of the original moment into a full, club-ready production. Deep, groove-heavy, and anchored by a bassline destined for the summer festival season ahead. dagi’s vocals brings warmth and melody to the top end, giving the track a sun-drenched quality with major dancefloor weight.
The momentum also caught the attention of the international club scene. Jamie Jones, one of the most influential House DJs in the world and a longtime resident of the legendary Circoloco parties in Ibiza, became aware of the track and engaged with the growing hype surrounding it.
Despite being one of Germany’s biggest creators, nothing in dagi’s world has moved quite like this. With both her and DHALI sharing a genuine love for Ibiza and the culture of the island, ‘Ibiza, Circoloco’ feels less like a community celebration of the White Isle and the music and lifestyle that defines it.
Ibiza, Circoloco represents a new form of music creation. Not strategically manufactured, but born from a spontaneous moment, picked up by the community, continuously evolved, and ultimately transformed into an official release.
