Just two months on from the rave release of his third studio album, Don Diablo has dropped the 2-disc deluxe edition – out now via HEXAGON. Following on from the recently released house hit ‘Cheque’, the Dutch titan has teamed up with English singer/songwriter Gabrielle Aplin for the album’s lead single ‘Get Out, Get Hurt’. Adopting a stripped-back approach to his signature future house sound, Don’s smooth soundscape provides the perfect accompaniment to Gabrielle’s laidback vocals.
Speaking about the track, Don Diablo said: “So excited to fully complete the FORΞVΞR album adventure with its final addition ‘Get Out Get Hurt’. Wanted to add something more stripped back to the album. A song that has enough space to bring its lyrical message across: sometimes you have to get out…even when you know it will hurt. Super grateful to have rising star Gabrielle Aplin grace the song with her amazing vocal talent.”
Drawing on his impressive back catalogue, the esteemed producer has selected mammoth collaborations with the likes of A R I Z O N A, Jessie J, Nate Dogg and Steve Aoki to add even more weight to the album’s already stellar tracklist. As with every move he makes, the carefully chosen assortment of tracks have been meticulously curated by the HEXAGON headhoncho himself, taking his listeners on an aural journey from the opening beat to the closing note.
