Starting off with a gorgeous vocal atmosphere and then the catchiest of lyrics, ‘Remedy’ is a hit you won’t get enough of! DUBOSS, hailing from Mallorca, teams up with EMDI to deliver the remedy for the summer. Together, they bring in nearly 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone, so you know there’s a huge audience eager for something special. And, to no one’s surprise, DUBOSS and EMDI bring the finest that slap house has to offer, making us truly ready for those summer festivals!

A child of the ‘80s, DUBOSS grew up with his Spanish mother and Swiss father in Mallorca — Ibiza’s big sister island. As a result, he was influenced from an early age by top European DJs who would come and play at his home island’s clubs, including the legendary BCM. This melting pot of sounds turned him onto Italo disco, classic ‘80s anthems, techno-pop, and later ‘90s Balearic house. All this fuses into his high-energy, euphoric contemporary club-pop sounds. A well-seasoned traveler, he also draws influence from across the world. His parents say that “he wanted to become a tourist when he would grow up”, and he has worked hard to achieve that goal, visiting around 100 countries throughout his life. Aside from his home island, he has lived in Barcelona, San Francisco, Santiago de Chile, and now Singapore. Aside from music, he’s a big exercise fanatic and practices mindfulness, and likes to keep engaged in world affairs and social causes. He has been making music since a young age and was involved with some successful music projects in the ‘90s, but this project marks an entirely fresh start for him.

Over the last years, EMDI has made its way into the top Polish dance music producers. With an average of over one million monthly listeners on Spotify, EMDI ranks among the TOP20 most listened to Polish artists and TOP3 producers on the platform. His releases on renowned labels such as Soave, Future House Music, NCS, Revealed, Trap Nation, Lithuania HQ, One Seven (disco: wax), Loud Memory (Sony Belgium), Magic Music, LoudKult, CYB3RPVNK, Panther’s Groove, and more have generated over 100 million streams across platforms. Now a household name in Poland’s legendary Sunrise Festival, EMDI has appeared on festival stages including Electrocity and Global Gathering as well as a variety of domestic and international clubs. Having achieved huge milestones in 2021, EMDI joined the roster of the prestigious SNRS MGMT and is set to continue his rapid progress in 2022.

Black and white portrait of ZHANGYE, leading figure in Chinese electronic music, promoting his single "Growing Up" with Justin Jesso.

ZHANGYE, one of the leading figures in Chinese electronic music, teams up with Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Justin Jesso to release their new single “Growing Up.” Distributed by Cyanhill Music, the introspective yet soaring dance pop single is available on all streaming platforms HERE.

Their new single, “Growing Up,” co-written and produced by ZHANGYE and Justin Jesso in Los Angeles, blends ZHANGYE’s signature production style with Jesso’s powerful, emotive vocals. The track explores the journey of personal growth, navigating choices, tension, and eventual reconciliation. With honest and delicate writing, it portrays the search for “balance” amidst chaos, framing growth not as pain or triumph but as a natural “rhythm of life.” Through dynamic melodies, the song transforms the struggles and release of growing up into a gentle yet soaring expression of life and hope.

“Working with ZHANGYE was a wonderful experience. We both hope this song can evoke a sense of ‘balance’ within listeners, and inspire them to gently embrace every stage of life.”Justin Jesso

“Justin Jesso’s voice infuses this song about growth with profound soul and resonance. I hope ‘Growing Up’ can accompany everyone who is seeking strength along their personal journey.”ZHANGYE

Recognized as one of the most influential figures in China’s electronic music scene in recent years, ZHANGYE has been making significant strides on the international stage. In October, he released the collaborative single “Where Do We Go” with Steve Aoki, and in November, as the initiator of CHINA EDM Vol.2, he launched a global open call exclusively for Chinese female DJs and producers, further highlighting the vitality and global potential of Chinese electronic music.

Following the global success of CHINA EDM Vol.1 in 2024, Cyanhill Music and founder ZHANGYE announce the launch of CHINA EDM Vol.2, a groundbreaking all-female Chinese electronic music compilation. This edition is exclusively open to Chinese female producers and DJs, celebrating their rising presence on major stages, international festivals, and in innovative musical fusion. Building on the first compilation’s global recognition, CHINA EDM Vol.2 aims to shine a spotlight on exceptional talent while maintaining the highest standards of musical quality, marking a historic moment for Chinese electronic music worldwide. Submissions are open until January 18, 2026 (GMT+8).

ZHANGYE and Steve Aoki’s “Where Do We Go” is a high-octane journey through the golden era of Future Bass with a modern twist. Opening with an emotionally charged Dance-Pop verse and building into a dynamic Future Bass drop, the track layers Wobble Chords with a Melodic Trap Lead to create a rich, unforgettable sound. Born from a shared vision and instant creative connection, this collaboration blends timeless textures with raw energy, making “Where Do We Go” a track destined to ignite dance floors and spark limitless musical possibilities.

NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 Review: MANA: :DRAIN’s First Compilation Tape

A glitchy, dark blue and black stylized graphic featuring the text "MANA: :DRAIN" and a serpent motif, representing the digital and fragmented themes of the NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 compilation.

NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 is the debut compilation tape from [MANA: :DRAIN], spanning 28 tracks and representing a serious entry point for the label into jungle, breakcore, and adjacent experimental spaces.

NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 is the debut compilation tape from [MANA: :DRAIN], released in 2025 and spanning 28 tracks across 1 hour and 19 minutes. The project brings together artists from different corners of jungle, breakcore, and adjacent experimental spaces, positioning itself as a collective release rather than a genre showcase built around a single sound or tempo. From the outset, the scope of the tracklist suggests a deliberate effort to represent range, not hierarchy.

Rather than centering the compilation around a small group of recurring contributors, NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 distributes attention across a wide pool of names. This approach immediately separates it from algorithm-driven compilations and places the focus on coexistence between scenes that often operate in isolation from one another.

Tracklist Scope and Scene Representation

The first half of the compilation moves between tracks like “Won’t You,” “Digital Moonlight,” “Denied From Heaven,” “Double Screen,” and “Snowfall,” establishing a run that balances melodic fragments with harsher rhythmic ideas. These early placements give the listener a sense of the project’s tonal boundaries without locking it into a single aesthetic. Tracks such as “STASIS” and “Ghoul” lean into darker textures, while others leave more space for atmosphere and restraint.

As the compilation progresses, titles like “digital claustrophobia,” “failed state,” “DANGER:code,” and “the ceasefire is still downloading” reinforce the sense that this tape is responding to a contemporary digital environment rather than referencing older genre landmarks. The variety of naming conventions mirrors the diversity of production approaches, making the tracklist itself part of the project’s identity rather than a neutral container.

Pacing, Length, and Listening Experience

With track lengths ranging from just over a minute to more than four minutes, NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 avoids the monotony that can come with large compilations. Shorter pieces such as “same shit” and “soap :3” function as pressure points between longer cuts like “Low HP,” “Wight Monster,” and “drop that.” This variation in duration helps maintain forward motion across the full runtime.

Later entries including “mylastdayonearth,” “hydroplane,” “no way out,” and “Software Piracy” continue to expand the emotional and structural range of the tape without breaking its overall flow. The final stretch, ending with “going mental (dj trawa mix),” feels intentional in placement, closing the compilation with intensity rather than ambiguity and reinforcing the tape’s refusal to soften its edges.

A Clear Editorial Statement from MANA: :DRAIN

As a first release, NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 reads as a statement of purpose from [MANA: :DRAIN]. The label’s emphasis on collaboration is evident not only in the number of contributors but in how evenly space is given across the project. No single artist or sound dominates the compilation, which supports the idea of rebuilding trust and visibility across fragmented jungle and breakcore communities.

NETFRACTURE, Vol. 1 does not attempt to resolve the tensions within the scene or present a unified direction. Instead, it documents coexistence as it currently exists, allowing different approaches to sit side by side without forced alignment. As an opening chapter, the compilation establishes [MANA: :DRAIN] as a label interested in long-term participation rather than momentary relevance, and it provides a credible foundation for whatever follows next.

FLAMENCA Records boss STBAN drops a surprise gift, releasing an edit of Rosalía’s single ‘Dios Es Un Stalker’.

With just weeks to go until Christmas, and the festive season in full swing, FLAMENCA Records boss STBAN drops a surprise gift for fans of his flamenco house sound, releasing a scorching edit of Rosalía’s single ‘Dios Es Un Stalker’.

Taken from Rosalía’s critically acclaimed fourth studio album ‘Lux’, ‘Dios Es Un Stalker’ is an understated, hypnotic construction, stripped back to bare bones of percussion and gentle rising instrumentals. STBAN’s edit preserves the emotion and mystique of Rosalía’s vocal, immersing her in his signature Latin-tech energy to bring the track squarely onto the dance floor, blending deep percussive grooves, hypnotic textures with a modern, club-forward pulse.

As soon as I heard the track I knew I wanted to remix it for the dance floor,” STBAN said. “What Rosalía is doing for Spanish music and culture, bringing it to the global audience in a way that’s never been done before, it’s a real inspiration for me and the whole team at FLAMENCA Records. 2025 has already been a huge year for us, launching the label, getting the Toolroom team behind us, connecting our Spanish heritage to new audiences all over the world through the lens of electronic music. This is just a great way for us to say thank you and also pay homage to a Spanish music icon who keeps pushing the boundaries.

Rosalía ‘Dios Es Un Stalker’ (STBAN Remix) is available for free download exclusively on SoundCloud.
