EDX Drops ‘Ibiza Sunset’ Remix Of Noa Kirel’s ‘Thought About That’!

There are only a handful of artists in electronic music who can boast the remarkable career longevity and ongoing success that EDX can. Almost three decades since he first started making records back in the mid-nineties, the Swiss-Italian music machine is just as prolific in 2022 as he was in 2002, as he continues to unleash hit record after hit record, on almost a monthly basis.

Following the international success of his latest club track ‘On My Mind’ on Sirup Music back in January – and his huge follow up vocal single ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ (ft. Allie Crystal) on Spinnin’ Records in February – EDX now delivers his first official remix of the year as he takes on Noa Kirel’s sublime 2022 hit, ‘Thought About That’.

Out now via Atlantic Records, EDX’s stunning new “Ibiza Sunset” remix of ‘Thought About That’ is yet another sparkling addition to an already stellar discography from Switzerland’s most-streamed artist all of time. Expertly complimenting Kirel’s sensational top lines with his playful synth patterns and trademark flair, the remix exudes EDX’s inimitable style and production values from the outset, as he combines old-school synths and shuffling rhythms to masterful effect. Transcendent breakdowns and upbeat drops add further contrast to the Israeli pop sensation’s soaring vocals, as the Swiss house maestro delivers a shimmering club-ready remix for one of this year’s biggest singles so far.

Speaking about the remix, EDX commented: “Whether I’m making an EDX vocal original, a more underground club track or remixing a huge pop star, I just love the feeling of freedom whenever I go into the studio. Noa has the most incredible voice and I was a big fan of ‘Thought About That’ when it came out, so putting this special Ibiza Sunset remix together for her was nothing but a pleasure. I think the record will really come into a life of its own on dancefloors across the world this summer, and I can’t wait to see everybody’s reactions”.
