Experts Only Festival 2026 NYC Lineup Announced
John Summit’s Experts Only Festival returns to Randall’s Island, New York City on September 19-20 2026, with tickets on sale April 3 and an initial lineup already confirmed.
Following its massively successful, sold-out 2025 debut on Randall’s Island, John Summit’s Experts Only Festival makes its highly anticipated 2026 return to New York City. Set for September 19 and 20, 2026 at Randall’s Island Park, the two-day event will once again transform the island into NYC’s largest dance destination, with Summit both curating the weekend and taking the stage following the release of his new album CTRL ESCAPE (out April 15 via Experts Only / Darkroom Records). Tickets for Experts Only Festival 2026 go on sale This Friday, April 3, with the Artist and Festival Presale beginning at 10:00 AM EST and running through 11:59 AM EST. The General Onsale will follow at 12:00 PM EST the same day. Following last year’s rapid sell-out, fans are encouraged to register early and secure access at https://www.expertsonlyfest.
Produced in partnership with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, and EMW, Experts Only Festival will build on last year’s momentum with elevated production with multiple stages, expanded fan experiences, and a standout roster of global electronic talent. The festival’s 2025 debut earned widespread praise for its polished execution and fan-first experience, delivering a major win for large-scale dance music in New York.
Today it was announced that the initial lineup includes John Summit, GRiZ, Prospa, SUBJOHNICS, LYNY, Korolova, Taiki Nulight, Devault, Dreya V, OMRI., Partiboi69, Jackie Hollander, Dansyn, Airrica, Gabss, MADI, Soraya, Mishell, and Rohaan, with additional artists to be revealed in the coming months.
In a market that has felt the absence of a major dance weekender on Randall’s Island in recent years, Experts Only delivered a triumphant return for electronic music at the iconic venue. The inaugural 2025 edition drew more than 50,000 fans and quickly became one of the most talked-about dance events of the year. The debut featured two headlining performances from Summit alongside sets from Kaskade b2b Cassian, Green Velvet b2b Layton Giordani, LP Giobbi, Kasablanca, DJ Seinfeld, Pete Tong, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (TEED), setting a new benchmark for large-scale dance events in New York City.

Martin Garrix releases new single “This Dream Of You,” featuring his own vocals after having previously debuted the track at Tomorrowland
After debuting it at Tomorrowland Belgium earlier this summer, Martin Garrix’s “This Dream Of You” is finally here. The progressive house track features Martin Garrix’s own vocals and warm melodies. Its lyrics focus on finding hope in someone when everything else feels uncertain. Martin Garrix first teased the track through an orchestral opening before later playing it in full at Ushuaïa Ibiza. It quickly became one of the IDs people were waiting to see released.
Why “This Dream Of You” Feels More Personal
One of the most personal parts of This Dream Of You comes from Martin Garrix singing on the track himself. He has spent years producing his own releases, but recording his vocals pushed him into unfamiliar territory. Martin Garrix described singing as “very far out of my comfort zone.” What began as an experiment eventually became part of the finished track. That gives the song a connection to him beyond production alone.

That interest in singing had already become part of Martin Garrix’s creative process before the track came out. He had shared clips of himself singing and playing guitar. Those clips showed another side of his musical development outside his usual work as a producer and DJ. With This Dream Of You, that experimentation became part of an official release. His vocals now carry lyrics that he had a direct role in expressing himself.
The meaning behind the track also helps explain why Martin Garrix has spoken about it as such a personal release. Its lyrics focus on uncertainty, hope and holding onto something important when the future feels unclear. His own vocals bring those ideas directly back to him. Martin Garrix first debuted the track at Tomorrowland before releasing it with his own vocals. That makes the song feel more personal than many of his previous releases.
What We Know About Martin Garrix’s Upcoming Album
“This Dream Of You” is also expected to appear on Martin Garrix’s upcoming second studio album. Martin Garrix currently plans to release the project later in 2026. It will be his first full-length album since Sentio in 2022. He has said the new project will take a different direction from the more aggressive sound of his debut.
Speaking about the album earlier this year, Martin Garrix described it as “more accessible” and “fun.” He said its wider idea centres on joy, connection and unity. Martin Garrix explained, “With so much crazy stuff happening in the world, I think everybody wants and needs music as an outlet.” He also wants the album and his shows to give people a chance to simply enjoy themselves.
Martin Garrix has already released several major tracks throughout 2026. These include “Catharina,” his collaboration with Ed Sheeran, “Repeat It,” “Bizarre” with Madonna, and “Fireflies” with U2. He has yet to announce the complete tracklist. “Catharina” and “This Dream Of You” are both expected to feature on the album. Together, they give listeners an early idea of how broad the project could be.
With “This Dream Of You” now officially released, Martin Garrix still has plenty more to come before the end of 2026. His second studio album is on the way. He has also introduced several new tracks throughout the year, with more details expected in the coming months.

John Summit and Max Styler spark dancefloor etiquette debate after calling out constant talking, phone use and a lack of presence during sets
For years, the dancefloor has been a place where the music comes first, with everything else happening around that shared experience. More recently, the debate around dancefloor etiquette has grown as constant filming, influencer culture, phone use and long conversations become more noticeable during sets. John Summit and Max Styler have now added their voices to that debate, calling out people who spend more time talking than dancing. Their comments have brought renewed attention to a question that has followed club and rave culture for years: how much should people around you affect the way everyone else experiences the music?
What John Summit and Max Styler Have Said
The issue first came to light on September 27, when John Summit posted on X: “idc what genre u listen to the only thing that is killing the dance floor is the constant yapping.” It follows comments he has made before about phones and filming during sets, where he has spoken about people becoming distracted or self-conscious instead of letting go and enjoying the music.
Not long after, Max Styler shared his own thoughts on social media, writing, “do the drugs, do the alcohol, do the dancing, let your freak flag fly but don’t open your trap.” Like John Summit, he was calling out people who spend parts of a set talking or yapping on the dancefloor instead of dancing and paying attention to the music.
The Wider Implications for Dancefloor Etiquette
Since John Summit and Max Styler have spoken out, their comments raise wider implications for how people think about dancefloor etiquette. Clubs and raves have always been social spaces, but there is still a difference between chatting with friends and spending large parts of a set yapping over the music. The issue becomes more noticeable when that behaviour starts affecting people nearby who are there to dance, listen and actually follow the set.
That line between socialising and disrupting the floor is already reflected in how some clubs operate. Nowadays in New York asks guests to keep conversations on the dancefloor brief and continue longer chats elsewhere, while also limiting phone use around the floor. Basement NYC has taken a similar approach with rules around talking, phones and photography, showing that the idea of keeping certain distractions away from the dancefloor is far from new.
As the scene continues to grow and expand, the etiquette debate has also widened beyond talking. Phones are now constantly raised for drops, people film themselves and their friends throughout sets, and social media has made being seen at an event part of the experience for some attendees. Influencer culture has pushed that further, especially at larger festivals where filming and posting can sometimes take as much attention as the music itself. Constant yapping becomes another part of the same concern when the set starts fading into the background.

Anyma first introduced ÆDEN at Coachella earlier this year. The show opens a new chapter in his live concept through original music, large-scale digital visuals and a story exploring technology and human consciousness. What Is Anyma’s ÆDEN Show?
ÆDEN is the latest audiovisual project from Anyma and continues his combination of electronic music, digital art and technology. The production follows the Genesys era with new music and a completely new visual narrative. It also expands the world Anyma has developed across his releases and live shows over the past several years.
At the centre of ÆDEN is a story exploring humanity’s relationship with artificial intelligence, digital consciousness and existence beyond the physical world. The concept draws inspiration from Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. Throughout the show, recurring characters, futuristic environments and large-scale visual sequences connect those ideas with the music. This gives the visual story a wider purpose beyond individual sequences.
ÆDEN now forms the foundation of Anyma’s 2026 world tour. After Coachella, he took the production to major international dates across Europe, Asia, Australia, the Middle East and the Americas. The upcoming Bangkok show now brings that full audiovisual production to Thailand for the first time.
Who Has Joined Anyma on the ÆDEN Tour?
The ÆDEN tour has featured a rotating group of supporting artists, with each city bringing a different lineup around Anyma’s headline show. In Shanghai, the lineup included Prospa, Ben Böhmer, Kölsch, Kasia and Stylo. The London dates featured Kevin de Vries, Chris Avantgarde, Layla Benitez, Mind Against, Woo York, 8Kays and Kasia. Sydney will also feature Argy, Colyn, Layla Benitez and PARIS. Together, those lineups show the tour’s continued focus on melodic house, melodic techno and related styles.
Bangkok has not revealed its supporting lineup yet, which leaves room for another interesting possibility. LISA, one of Thailand’s biggest global music stars, collaborated with Anyma on Bad Angel. Her character Beatrix also became part of the wider ÆDEN story. Bangkok is her home city, so a surprise appearance would carry particular significance for the local crowd. Anyma has not confirmed any guest appearance, but their existing ÆDEN connection makes the idea especially interesting for the December 5 show.
Anyma presents ÆDEN will take place at MCOT Land in Bangkok on Saturday, December 5, 2026. Organizers will announce more artists in the coming weeks. Presale begins on Friday, October 2 at 5:00 PM ICT. General ticket sales follow at 7:00 PM ICT through Anyma’s official website.
The full lineup will come later, leaving more to be revealed before ÆDEN comes toThailand in December. For now, fans can secure tickets for Bangkok’s first ÆDEN show and see who joins Anyma for the event.
