Flight Facilities Mixes things Up with New ‘Move’ ft. Drama Remixes!

Today, Flight Facilities released two remixes of their latest single ‘Move’ ft DRAMA. The first remix comes from fellow Australian producer Loods, and is followed up by Serbian House selector kryptogram. Loods’ kicks off the package with a sturdy tempo and slow build, eazing us into a deep house groove and transporting us to late-night dance floors. kryptogram, on the other hand, allows Via Rosa’s silvery vocals to remain the focus of the track, marking his territory as he genre-hops between equal parts Chicago house and seamless disco rhythms. kryptogram and Loods both impart their own styles onto the already classic original, both highlighting different aspects of the hit Flight Facilities and DRAMA single.

Loods has gone from strength to strength in the past two years. He’s already secured two sell-out records on Steel City Dance Discs label, a coveted spot on DJ Mag’s 2020: a year in dance music, close to two million streams on ‘Walking Away’ which earned Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record’ and regular rotation on BBC Radio 1, and guest mixes on Rinse FM, NTS, and triple j. Only a couple years into his career, Loods continues to push to the forefront of the scene, making a name for himself on the international stage and earning the respect from tastemakers like Pete Tong, Patrick Topping, Danny Howard and more.

The rise of Serbian born and Chicago raised producer kryptogram looks equally as promising. Known for his genre-blending capabilities, kryptogram is known to mix everything from 90s UK garage to indie-electronica. His recent krypt.vol2 EP kept true to this style, organically blending energies and sounds, incorporating his own vocals and keeping fans guessing over the project’s direction. This versatility is undoubtedly his strength and is sure to intrigue fans as he preps for the live show.

kryptogram adds – “I went through about 6 different versions when I got the stems, completely different genres for each version but they weren’t doing it for me. I wanted to make something that I haven’t heard or made before. I dove into a different sound palette for a bit more variety than my usual productions. The vocals are so timeless in my opinion so I felt I needed to make something that can stand the test of time and still sound fresh years from now.”

The ‘Move ft. Drama’ original received widespread support from the likes of Billboard Dance, Rolling Stone Mexico, FLOOD Magazine, KCRW and more. It arrived off the back of Flight Facilities’ giant remix package, which saw their two singles of 2021 ‘Lights Up ft. Channel Tres’ and ‘The Ghost’ get makeovers from a barrage of industry heavyweights including Honey Dijon, Gerd Janson, Myd, Mousse T., and ABSOLUTE. The pair have demonstrated that they are full steam ahead this year, recently tapping Apple’s iPhone 13 announcement advertisement with their hit ‘Lights Up ft. Channel Tres’, and adding an additional slew of US tour dates alongside RÜFÜS DU SOL to their 70,000 ticket, sold out Los Angeles Banc of California shows this November.
