After travelling all over the world in search of new inspiration, Trinix have come up with what could be their most standout musical creation yet. Created during a makeshift studio session in the Californian desert during their recent U.S. tour, ‘Rodeo’ sees the French duo pull out all the stops for a complex and tumultuous love story with plenty of ups and downs. L
More a gentle horseback ride along the shore than a bucking bronco, Trinix bring a mid-paced hybrid of dance, pop and R&B with a secret weapon. Strumming and strutting until sundown like a bar-hopping cowboy keeping cool in sticky conditions, the French duo, recommended by The Times U.K. newspaper, proves a cut above the rest with a crumpled trumpet riff taking center stage. Ungainly at first, it’s sure to kick off a round of dirty dancing hotter than a night in Havana.
Formed by Josh Chergui and Loïs Serre in 2012, Trinix made the dance music realm take notice of their potential through clever ideas and brilliant remixes for the likes of Fergie, Hyphen Hyphen, Lost Kings and Lost Frequencies. Their work already racked up more than 160 million plays across the most popular streaming services, and gained them strong international support from various radio stations and well-known artists, The Chainsmokers, R3hab, Martin Garrix.
