With no releases in 2019, Baran Ozhan was determined to right those wrongs in 2020 and he did just that, releasing two solid originals in the form of ‘Funk’ and ‘Dunia’. Having returned to the dance scene, Baran Ozhan felt incredible having unleashed new sounds and promised he’d never slow down again, opening 2021 right away with ‘Fallin Down’, which we covered in depth here. As you can listen from his previous releases, Baran Ozhan loves to incorporate groovy sounds and authentic synths into his productions and with his creativity it leads to high-quality results.
Now building on his momentum, Baran Ozhan appears for the second time in 2021 with the funky and soulful ‘Into The Groove’. Although working mostly on melodies, the German artist now turns his attention to a low lying vocal-drive single with the emphasis put on a groovy yet dark bassline. Letting the bass line take center stage, he expertly matches it with a memorable vocal sample that is sure to stick in your mind for hours to come.
