‘RAM’s World: Volume 1’ is the first project from the new NYC-based artist Ghost RAM. The 34-track, 47-minute mix seamlessly blends club favorites, current hits, and a host of Ghost RAM’s personal edits to produce a high-energy atmosphere. Ghost RAM provides a refreshing take on numerous global hits by featuring a number of lesser-known remixes to create a truly diverse tracklist. ‘RAM’s World’ features songs from across the dance music spectrum, ranging from progressive to future bass to tropical house. Despite the array of genres, Ghost RAM supplies listeners with a mix that flows together effortlessly.
The project is the debut release for Ghost RAM, who, in addition to DJing and remixing, also raps. As an ardent fan of both rap and dance music, he wanted his first release to encapsulate the love he has for both genres. “It’s a bit cliché, but for me, music has never been about genres,” states Ghost RAM. “My parents had wide-ranging musical tastes, so growing up, I was jamming to Marvin Gaye one minute and The Eagles the next. I have a strong passion for numerous genres of dance music, as well as rap, and wanted to create a project that reflects the love I have for diverse styles of music.” The next mix in the series, ‘RAM’s World: Volume 2’, will be available in the spring. Ghost RAM is currently recording projects in New York, Amsterdam, and Berlin, and plans to release his first single this spring.
