Australian scene-shaper Godlands continued her hot streak on Monstercat today, teaming up with UK bass tastemaker Tisoki for their new single, ‘TELL ME’. Arriving as the second record off her forthcoming EP set for June, the explosive tune is a synergistic blend of the two producers’ pioneering styles. Rife with aggressive kicks and screeching synths, the pair flex their bass house sensibilities in perfect form, leaving listeners hoping this won’t be their last collab.
Godlands calls it, “a wicked fusion of two artists that created a high-energy club bop. The goal was met, I reckon. It was such an awesome experience working with Tisoki on a record and even better when we both were on the same level from sound to art design.”
Tisoki adds, “I’m honoured to be a part of Godlands’ EP coming out on Monstercat and super stoked on our record together. I hope the world enjoys it!”
Godlands has effortlessly worked her way to the top of the club circuit, honing a trap and grime-inspired repertoire. Early on, the Adelaide-native grabbed the attention of industry leaders from BBC to Steve Aoki, which led to massive stage plays including Splendour in the Grass and HARD Summer. Adding to her countless records that have taken off globally, her last track “GODSP33D” earned a triple j Unearthed Artist Pick. The queer producer continues on an explosive trajectory in the lead-up to her EP, hitting headline dates and festivals including Lunar Electric, SUB XL, and more.
