Greg Katona Unleashes A Highly Energetic Bootleg Of ‘Gold Skies’ By Martin Garrix!

Hungarian DJ and producer Greg Katona’s career has taken him across Europe and Asia and landed him a spot as one of the most sought after DJs in Beijing. His interest in electronic music began at an early age and was influenced by the sounds of Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode. He began his journey as a DJ in Budapest under the guidance of respected techno DJ Gabor Kraft and has since developed a heavy-hitting style of his own. He has been in the music industry more than 10 years ago, and during these years he has held residencies in many DJ Mag Top 100 clubs, such Modo Ultra Club and Club Elements.

In addition to his impressive list of residencies, Katona has performed representing huge international brands such as Chanel, Cartier, Versace, H&M, Armani, YSL and more. His professionalism and skill as a performer has seen him being booked as the official DJ for several prestigious events including the opening ceremony for Beijing Fashion Week. His popularity has won him bookings all across the globe with multiple shows in countries such as Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Hungary, and Croatia. Adding to this huge list of accolades, Greg Katona has performed alongside big names such as Martin Solveig, Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki at Ultra Music Festival in Croatia and Sziget Festival in his home country of Hungary.

Katona’s skills don’t stop at DJing; as a producer and a remixer he has released a constant stream of consistently high-quality releases. The bootlegs, remixes, and originals on his discography speak to his diversity as an artist and contain house, trap, electro, and hip-hop influences to guarantee something for everyone. He has recently honed his musical style focusing on low-end based songs emulating the sound of psytrance, bass and bigroom. In 2019, Katona had released six original songs on the respected record labels Ensis Records and G-Mafia as well as on South Korean labels Discovery Music Records and Moon Records and in 2020’s first release on Jakd Records.

Keeping his hot momentum rolling into the new year, Greg Katona graces our sound systems once again with a brilliant bootleg for Martin Garrix‘s infamous single ‘Gold Skies’. Taking on bootleg duties for such an iconic single comes with a lot of high expectations and Katona smashes those out of the park. Featuring a high energetic tempo and powerful bass-driven synths and sounds, Katona turns this progressive gem into a high-octane main room peak time anthem. If you haven’t added this artist to your ones to watch in 2020 list, you must do so now!
