David Ramano Continues His Exploration Of Afro & Melodic House With New ‘Time Loop EP’
David Ramano releases the Time Loop EP via his Omkara imprint, a three-track Afro and Melodic House journey rooted in rhythm, emotion, and reflection.
David Ramano, the London-born and now Dubai-based electronic artist and producer, continues his run of new music this year, with the release of the ‘Time Loop EP’ via his Omkara imprint. The three-track EP showcases a deeper and more conceptual step in his exploration of Afro and Melodic House, citing a new chapter in his personal evolution as an artist.
The ‘Time Loop’ EP is a reflection on the patterns that we move through and the moments we repeat, while pointing toward the awareness that allows us to move beyond them. Across each of the tracks, the EP unfolds as a journey that moves from rhythm and repetition into introspection and resolution.
The opening track, ‘Time Loop’, is a deep and hypnotic instrumental built for the dancefloor, driven by rolling Afro House percussion and evolving textures, focusing on presence over progression. The EP then shifts towards ‘Lost In The Waves’, a vocal-led piece that introduces a more emotive dimension, exploring surrender, trust, and the experience of letting go into the unknown. Closing the EP, ‘Never Look Back’ brings a feeling of clarity and forward motion, with a vocal that conveys quiet strength and release, capturing the decision to move on without attachment to the past.
The ‘Time Loop EP’ notes one of David’s most prolific runs of studio output to date, with a catalogue of music released on and forthcoming across labels including Enormous Tunes, Where The Heart Is, Vamos Music, Vamos Music Talents, Ostowana, Xpressed Records, Open Bar Music, and his own imprint, Omkara. This stream of releases reflects his ever-growing presence across the global Afro and Melodic House scene and his commitment to rhythm-driven electronic music rooted in emotion and cultural influence. His music continues to reach audiences worldwide, with new tour dates forthcoming, including a performance in Miami.
Raised in London’s diverse musical landscape, David’s sound is shaped by soulful harmonies, emotional storytelling, and the influence of underground dance culture. From the 1990s pirate radio scene to performances across the UK, Spain, Sweden, and Canada, his journey has been defined by authenticity and movement. As one half of the Deepologists, he developed an immersive approach to music that connects the physical and emotional sides of the dancefloor.
David’s work continues to receive strong support from international tastemakers, including Damian Lazarus, Themba, CamelPhat, Shimza, Artbat, Cosmic Gate, and Don Diablo. His track ‘Fall’ remains one of his most-streamed releases, combining Afro percussive energy with emotive melodies and surpassing 380,000 streams while featuring on key Spotify Afro House playlists. Across platforms, his catalogue has now exceeded 850,000 streams, with music reaching clubs, festivals, and radio shows worldwide.
Founded as a creative platform for forward-thinking Afro and Melodic House, Omkara serves as the home for David Ramano’s own releases. The label’s vision is centred on innovation, emotional depth, and rhythm-driven soundscapes that bridge tradition and modernity, drawing influence from African, Latin, and Eastern musical heritage.
With the ‘Time Loop EP’, David Ramano moves deeper into his artistic vision, delivering a body of work rooted in rhythm and emotion while already gaining early support from respected names including Damian Lazarus and Themba, signalling its impact across the global Afro and Melodic House community.

John Summit – CTRL ESCAPE (Album)
The wait is officially over. Today, John Summit unveils his debut album, CTRL ESCAPE, via Experts Only / Darkroom Records. Serving as a comprehensive portrait of his life over the last few years, the album is a genre-blurring journey that fuses tech-house flair with dubstep, drum & bass, and melodic textures. It’s not just an album; it’s a communal experience that cements Summit’s position as the definitive face of modern dance music.
Malaa (Alter Ego) & YDG – STFU
French house titan Malaa introduces his “Alter Ego” to the Deadbeats family, teaming up with breakout star YDG for the high-intensity single “STFU.” This track is a volatile crossover, moving fluidly between breakbeats, trap rhythms, and a driving four-on-the-floor switch. It marks a darker, more experimental phase for Malaa, perfectly complemented by YDG’s heavy low-end precision. With both artists heading to EDC Las Vegas, this is a primary weapon for the 2026 festival season.
GRiZ – BBFL
GRiZ returns with “BBFL” (Bass, Beats, Funk, Love), a track that distills his entire musical ethos into one high-impact statement. Built around his signature silky saxophone topline and anchored by hip-hop-leaning vocals, the track bridges feel-good funk with groovy pressure. After a massive year that saw the debut of his Seven Stars Festival, “BBFL” signals that GRiZ isn’t just revisiting his past—he’s expanding it for a new era of connection and joy.
Claude VonStroke ft. Jasper + Ella – Two Line Groove
Claude VonStroke takes a deeply personal turn with “Two Line Groove,” the latest single from his upcoming album Wrong Number. In a move away from feature-driven releases, this “family affair” features his children, Jasper and Ella Crenshaw, on vocals. Eschewing festival spectacle for a patient, jazzy house groove, the track feels right at home on a DC10 terrace. It’s a generational reset that prioritizes “uplifting creativity” over trends, proving Claude is still finding new ways to innovate from within.
Kaleena Zanders – Stronger Than Machines
Vocal powerhouse and producer Kaleena Zanders drops “Stronger Than Machines,” the third single from her forthcoming debut album Anything Goes. Written as a “slice of musical hope” in a world of AI, the track is a groovy, uplifting anthem built on driving chords and infectious gang vocals. Arriving on the heels of several viral social media moments, the single lands just as Kaleena prepares for her headline tour and major slots at Electric Forest.
Kayzo & Manji – FKN LOUD
Kayzo continues his full-throttle transition into hard dance with “FKN LOUD,” a blistering collaboration with hard-techno force Manji. Driven by distorted plucks and punishing kicks, the track is a raw fusion of hardcore and techno. Kayzo’s move into this genre has been solidified by his recent Mixmag LAB announcement, and “FKN LOUD” serves as a high-impact anthem for those who prefer their dance music heavy and unrelenting.
Moody Good x KARAN! – Mouth Piece
Moody Good pushes further into his “SPEEEDBUMP” audio-visual universe with “Mouth Piece,” a collaboration with Brazilian producer KARAN!. The track merges futuristic baile funk grooves with industrial bass precision. It is a meticulously engineered, bouncy experience that continues to expand the hyper-detailed world Moody Good is building on Deadbeats.
Grabbitz – Better Off Before
Following his creative reset, Grabbitz returns with “Better Off Before,” a track that re-centers him as a top-tier producer. Blending textural bass pulses with his signature vulnerable vocal delivery, the song explores themes of identity and self-worth. It’s a sophisticated, emotionally uncompromising record that feels equally at home on a massive sound system or in a pair of headphones for late-night introspection.
