GROSSOMODDO and MOSKA team up for the first time on Salseo, out now via HUGEL’s Make The Girls Dance imprint

After several releases across 2026, GROSSOMODDO is back on HUGEL’s Make The Girls Dance imprint with another collaboration, this time alongside Colombian DJ and producer MOSKA. Salseo marks the first time the two artists have worked together, bringing GROSSOMODDO’s house and Afro house sound together with MOSKA’s Latin influence. The release also follows a particularly active year for GROSSOMODDO on the label and MOSKA’s first appearance there earlier this summer.

Salseo Brings Their Sounds Together

Across Salseo, Afro house provides the foundation while Latin rhythm gives the track much of its character. GROSSOMODDO’s Mediterranean influence works alongside MOSKA’s Colombian background through organic percussion, warm rhythms and a steady house groove. Their styles already overlap in several places, which helps the collaboration feel consistent with the music both have been releasing recently.

That combination also fits closely with Make The Girls Dance, where house, Afro house and Latin-influenced music have featured heavily throughout 2026. Salseo adds another track to that catalogue while giving GROSSOMODDO and MOSKA their first release together.

GROSSOMODDO Continues a Busy Year With Make The Girls Dance

The release extends an already close relationship between GROSSOMODDO and Make The Girls Dance. Earlier this year, he released Hadid with HUGEL and SPHYNX, Toledo with Brøder and Bletter, WAQI with MONTAIGNE, Blues with Provi and Panjab with SPHYNX.

Since starting the project in the south of France at the end of 2023, GROSSOMODDO has focused on house and Afro house with a Mediterranean influence. Several tracks have reached No. 1 on Beatport, while performances have taken him to EDC Las Vegas, Pacha Ibiza, Factory Town Miami, Cova Santa Ibiza, Club Space Miami, Surf Club Dubai and Amnesia France.

MOSKA Returns After Guyarati

Only a few months separate Salseo from MOSKA’s first release on Make The Girls Dance. Guyarati, released with Juany Bravo and RAMI, introduced the Colombian producer to the label in July before his collaboration with GROSSOMODDO followed in September.

His career stretches much further back, with releases through Musical Freedom, Spinnin’ Records, Mad Decent, Armada Music, Ultra Records and Wall Recordings. MOSKA has also collaborated with or remixed artists including Major Lazer, J Balvin, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Laidback Luke, Galantis and Daddy Yankee.

In recent years, his music has shifted further toward Afro house while keeping a strong Latin influence through percussion and rhythm. That direction has accompanied performances at Tomorrowland, EDC Mexico, EDC Orlando and Ritvales, alongside shows across clubs and festivals around the world.

With Salseo, both artists add another release to a year that has already kept Make The Girls Dance busy across house and Afro house. For GROSSOMODDO, it continues a strong run with the imprint, while MOSKA returns only months after his first release there.
