Vietnamese up and coming artist HEU recently treated us to the production ‘Taking What You Want’ , which happened to be his very first release. HEU showed off his potential as an artist with an uplifting and energetic first single which has started the momentum for a bright future ahead. For his second release, HEU decided to show off his creativity within the studio, remixing his own track and giving it a different spin.
For the VIP mix of ‘Taking What You Want’, HEU keeps the tone and groove of the original but flips it on it’s head. The VIP mix kicks off with the powerful vocals of Marq, slowly progressing into the first build up. This build up leads seamlessly into the first drop which features a deep bass line combined with unique one shots playing a catchy melody. HEU doesn’t waste time getting to the second break which is once again dominated by the beautiful vocals of Marq. The second drop hits with no disappointment as the producer adds rhythmic synths into the mix to keep it fresh and tasty.
