After a summer of true revelry, iconic Ibiza nightspot Café Mambo is concluding its 2023 season in style with closing DJ sets from HOSH, Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Paul Darey. The fabled best sunset in the world and pre-party hotspot bows out this Saturday 21st October from 6pm.
Famed German DJ from the Diynamic camp, HOSH is set to take the Mambo crowd on a galactic trip, following earlier sets from long-standing Mambo resident Jason Bye, Andy Baxter, and island veteran Paul Darey – a fitting way to cap off a truly memorable year for the island’s best sunset spot.
Highlights of the season have included a host of special shows from Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago and the Martinez Brothers’ Tuesday pre-party shows before Hï Ibiza, which climaxed with special guests including Paco Osuna. Brazilian DJ icon Vintage Culture’s Wednesday Hï Ibiza pre-party slot went down a treat, as did Pure Pacha’s Thursday pre-parties with special guests including Robin Schulz and Jax Jones, while Fridays have been spiced up by Defected, whose huge closing party featured Sam Divine B2B Low Steppa.
Rounding out the week, Claptone’s The Masquerade took the pre-Pacha slot on Saturdays with the likes of Roger Sanchez, and Sundays saw Glitterbox partying before Hï Ibiza with guests including Todd Terry, Jason Bye, and Willie Graff. Other highlights included Capital Dance’s takeover at Mambo with guests such as Fatboy Slim, Becky Hill, LF System, Mistajam, Hannah Laing, and Spice Girl Mel C joined for the Robin Schulz Pure Pacha pre-parties.
The Café Mambo brand has also been touring the UK as well as the US, Bahrein, Dubai, and many more destinations, hosting an array of parties including an Ibiza Classics party at Warwick Castle in May and Mambo In The Park in Mote Park, Maidstone in September.
Set in the heart of San Antonio, Café Mambo is recognised for its unrivalled sunset views. It was created during the 90s house music heyday and received instant recognition, being named ‘Bar of the Year’ by GQ. DJs began to frequent the bar requesting to play on the decks and before long regular sets included the biggest names in dance music playing at the now celebrated sunset ‘pre-party’.
Saying farewell (for now) to exclusive, intimate performances from some of the best DJs worldwide and unrivalled sunsets, Café Mambo brings the curtain down on yet another life-affirming summer season.
