Having opened their doors in late-2018, London-based record label 152 Records have continued to excel in the art of releasing quality music, taking several unknown acts under their banner and catapulting their careers. In 2020, they have released a total of 12 tracks including the return of Hysterism, following on in fine fashion from his previous release, ‘Get The F*ck Out’, which we featured here.
Hysterism is well known as both a producer and DJ, with a wealth of experience behind the decks; his eclectic track choices also drive his own productions, whilst he boasts a range of influences which stream through the sounds he puts into his work. With a musical career that began in London, he started within the fold of label Sons of Noise Records and soon continued to bag releases on well-respected levels such as Most Addictive, Adaptive Records, and Impossible Records.
Delivering more of that energetic bass house sound that we were introduced to with his previous release, Hysterism once again uses pulsating and trembling sounds to truly make your sound systems roar. He sets the tone nicely from the beginning by subtly introducing the listener to some heavy samples. As the single progresses, Hysterism showcases a quite melodic side as he uses simple yet effective synth work which is combined by female vocals. He then steps it up as he builds towards the drop, and once it hits, we are blown away. Signature jaw-dropping synths are used in an innovative way that tops this single off perfectly.
