“I Don’t Care”, Says Martin Garrix About DJ Mag Top 100!

In a discussion for the most dedicated and hard-working DJ or Producer in the electronic dance music scene, it would be tough not to make a case for the Dutch superstar Martin GarrixMartin Garrix has risen to global stardom in pop as well as electronic circles – and yet he’s far from being done. Dance music’s freshest talent has headlined festivals around the globe, founded a label and mentored other artists and won the #1 spot in DJ Mag’s Top 100 three times in a row. His passion, ambition, drive and maturity remain unmatched in the world.

However, in a recent interview, Martin Garrix said that he doesn’t agree with one of the above accolades. In his explanation he says Tiesto is a number of places below him and it doesn’t make sense, as Martin began DJing because of him. “I am not a better DJ than him, maybe now I just have a bit more hype around me. By the way, there are also people in that list that I have never heard of, so I have my doubts about the creation” Garrix added.
