When it comes to heading to the party isle or Ibiza, the possibilities are endless. From afternoon beach parties day-to-night events, nighttime extravaganzas, partying is certainly the most popular thing to do on the island. However, a wonderful island that is built around music, you don’t have to go to one of these events to see the beauty of the island as there is a number of restaurants, activities, and historical places to further enhance your vacation. With so many things on offer, it’s super hard to do everything in one trip so Ibiza is certainly somewhere that you must visit multiple times to truly get to grips with the island. We had the pleasure of visiting the island this summer and here are the top 5 things we done on the island.
1. Café Mambo
Up first is probably the most iconic sunset and music location on the whole island. Located in Saint Antonio, Café Mambo has been a mainstay on the island for just under 30 years now. Enjoying incredible food and drinks by the beach, and viewing the sunset is not the only thing that this place has to offer as when the day turns to night they bring out some incredible acts to get the party started. Just this summer the likes of Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, Fisher, Claptone, Vintage Culture, and many more have graced the decks of the iconic Café Mambo window. With so much to offer Café Mambo is a must visit when your in Ibiza.
2. Hï Ibiza
From sunset, music, and drinks to the #1 nightclub in the world, Hï Ibiza is our first club on this list. With a star studded lineup of DJs performing every single night across 3 rooms, Hï Ibiza has something for everyone. The “Theatre” is the main room and plays hosts to the headliners, delivering massive tunes on a pumping soundsystem that is backed up with tremendous visuals and lightshows. In the Club Room we’ve got the supporting acts bringing a little more of an underground vibe with yet more amazing production on show. And if that wasn’t enough you can head to the Wild Corner toilets where there is another party taking place which just further adds to your clubbing experience. Each and every aspect of this place put together certainly makes it the best night club in the world.
3. Ushuaïa Ibiza
Up next we head to the beach club equivalent to Hï Ibiza with Ushuaïa. Day-to-night parties are the order of business for here and they certainly bring the biggest parties to the island. From elrow and ANTS to David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Tiësto, and Martin Garrix, Ushuaïa is the place to be for the biggest names. A thumping sound system is accompanied by an incredible lightshow while the headliners play and if that wasn’t enough you might be lucky to catch incoming flights heading over the mainstage, a view that is mind-blowing.
4. Pacha
The next club up on this list is the gorgeous Pacha. An iconic venue on the island, Pacha was first founded in 1973 and since then has been on the top of the party scene in Ibiza. With its iconic cherry logo, this nightclub is instantly recognizable and with that kind of reputation you’ve got to impress people when they walk through the door and that is certainly delivered. Walking into the club you are introduced to an incredible venue that is packed with gorgeous décor that is both modern and vintage. This is accompanied by fantastic production from lights, sound, and performers, on top of some of the brightest house acts in the industry.
5. Amnesia
Certainly not a place to be forgotten about, Amnesia is a legendary nightclub that has played a pivotal role in shaping the island’s nightlife scene. With over four decades of history, Amnesia has become an iconic destination for partygoers from around the world. What sets Amnesia apart is its unique dual personality, divided into two distinct areas: the Terrace and the Club Room. The Terrace offers an open-air experience, where revelers can dance under the stars and witness mesmerizing sunrise moments. World-renowned DJs like Carl Cox and Paul van Dyk have graced the Terrace’s decks, creating unforgettable memories. Inside the Club Room, the energy reaches a fever pitch as the music pounds through a state-of-the-art sound system, and immersive visuals enhance the experience. With its rich history, exceptional music programming, and a vibe that embodies the spirit of Ibiza, Amnesia remains a must-visit destination for those seeking an unforgettable night of electronic music and dance.
Honorable mentions:
Away from the partying, we had the pleasure of visiting some more amazing spots on this island that deserve their own limelight but we can’t be here all day. Our first meal was at Cheekywun, an Asian infused restaurant that brings amazing food with an authentic and beautiful vibe. Up next we’ve got to mention the amazing STK, which offers up an additional experience that many restaurants don’t. From high end food and drinks, this place comes to life when the performers and music start. With dancers, live instrumentalists, and vocalists, there is something for everyone here. Our last but certainly not least place to mention is the incredible TRS Hotel where we had the pleasure of staying during our vacation. An all inclusive adult only hotel, this 5 star accommodation offers up a vibe that is both party and relaxing. Amazing food and drinks with customer service that is unrivalled, this hotel is incredible on its own but when you add its pool and their DJs that play each day, there can be almost nothing to complain about, other than the possibility of you liking the hotel too much to leave to see the rest of the island.
Overall the experience on this island was something that we can’t compare to anywhere else and we would 100% recommend visiting this place and we will certainly be heading back in the coming years to get another dose of this party isle.
