Jay Pepe Treats Us To A Fantastic Free Track ‘Body’!

Following on from his incredible first release of 2020‘T-Babe’, Jay Pepe treats us to a brand new single, ‘Body’, available for free! At the young age of 16 years old, Jay Pepe discovered his passion for EDM and DJing as he played his first club gig in one of the most recommended clubs in west-Germany, Cafe Europa. After experiencing the life of DJing, he turned to producing and seen success with releases on major labels in his home country. After a short break from releasing tracks, he returned in 2019 with a number of solid releases. Since then, Jay Pepe has promised to release lots more music and he is showing no signs of breaking that promise.

With his previous releases, Jay Pepe has set his signature style within the bass/future house and tech-house scene. With the release of ‘Body’, the German producer leans more into the tech-house style, using infectious drum work to showcase his production talents. The single kicks off with simple yet effective drum work. It doesn’t take long before he introduces a groovy bassline into the mix which sets the tone for the remainder of the production. The track is built around 2 drops, both of which incorporate powerful samples and a groovy bassline that top this single off perfectly. Often regarded as one of the brightest up and coming talents from Germany, Jay Pepe is sure to be an artist to keep a close eye on in the coming months.
