Leicester-born DJ and producer Jerome Price has joined forces with Tennessee-born singer-songwriter Shaylen on new single ‘Disturbia’, out now.
A fresh, contemporary reimagining of the chart-topping Rihanna smash of the same name, ‘Disturbia’ is characterized by a powerful slap house bassline, infectious hooks, and the soaring vocals courtesy of acclaimed LA singer-songwriter Shaylen.
Released in 2009, the world-conquering original was 6x platinum-certified and topped the chart for two consecutive weeks. It follows Jerome’s remix of ‘Channel 43’ by deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner. He will also perform at Ministry of Sound alongside Jonas Blue on 23rd July.
Jerome Price has made his name with a number of huge remixes, from his massive rework of Avicii’s alter-ego Tim Berg’s ‘Seek Bromance’ to his flip of the Justin Bieber smash ‘What Do You Mean’, MØ’s ‘Final Song’ plus official remixes for Troye Sivan, Jonas Blue, and Tom Walker ft Zara Larsson, Ghetts, Punctual, Roger Sanchez and lots more. His single ‘Me Minus You’ has now amassed over 10 million streams, and was followed up with further successful singles ‘Nobody’ featuring Karen Harding and ‘Nothing Left To Lose’ featuring Alex Mills.
A soulful singer with a highly resonant voice, Shaylen is a pop artist who also operates in the worlds of electronic dance music, hip-hop, and R&B, previously collaborating with the likes of DJ Chuckie, Manse, Manilla Killa, Niko the Kid, and Cory Enemy. Most recently she linked up with Bryce Vine and KyleYouMadeThat on single ‘Do Si Do’.
