After making his debut in 2019 with a total of 6 releases, JRace decided to take it one step further in 2020, delivering 7 high-quality productions with the likes of ‘Miss Me’ and ‘FAR’ being included in that list. With those 13 releases in his first two years as an artist, JRace set a very positive first impression and he is continuing with that momentum straight into 2021 with his first single of the year, ‘Alive’, released via the newly formed POLEIS RECORDS.
Juan Carrera Díaz-Velarde, also known as JRace is a 19-year-old artist from Spain with two years of experience in the production of electronic music. Being a fan of dance music for several years, JRace specializes within the house genre, seeking and establishing his varied style since he is always looking for new sounds that give him freshness to the panorama, with his greatest inspirations being the likes of Tchami, Curbi or Skrillex.
With those kinds of inspirations, his music tends to be a blend of several styles, and the results are immense. On ‘Alive’, JRace combines moody atmospheric elements with raw deep power that we’ve not quite heard of before. The single kicks off with catchy and memorability deep vocals that are matched with low pads. The single then subtly builds towards the drop but it doesn’t reveal much. The drop hits and then blows us away as pulsating basslines take the center stage playing a rhythmic melody that is sure to get your fist-pumping. An incredible single, the future is bright for this emerging artist.
