The artist known as Killed Kassette kicked off his career in 2013 and before long he was quickly snapped up by Kevin Saunderson‘s legendary KMS record label. Over the past couple of years, he has released original productions and remixes on high profile labels such as Roush, Armada, Twisted Fusion and Criminal Hype. His releases which draw influences from rave, techno, break beat and house have been well received across the globe by many highly rated DJ’s such as Sasha, Groove Armada, Roger Sanchez, Hector Couto, De La Swing and many more. Now playing out regularly with a gig schedule taking in some of the UK’s favorite underground clubs, this artist is living up to his name and killing it.
Killed Kassette takes ‘Gonzo’ by The Lost and injects it with that signature house style that we’ve come to love to the UK based artist. This mix kicks off with rhythmic samples which set the tone for the listener. As the mix progresses, Killed Kassette adds more and more housier tones with infectious samples and a groovy bass line. This single is taken to the next level as he adds a trumpet synth to build suspense before heading back to each bass centered sections. This single flows with such ease as you find yourself repeating it over and over again without getting tired of it.
