As an artist shrouded in mystery, KLOUD has become one of the most exciting projects to have emerged from the electronic music space. Since stepping out from the shadows in 2018, the enigmatic artist has quickly wired himself into the scene via a dark, enthralling sound that builds on his affinity for analog gear and modern production. KLOUD is now taking the controls to wrap up a wildly successful second season for Night Mode with his label debut, ‘Disconnect’, a thrilling electro-fueled journey through moody vocals that are brought to life by his unrivaled synth work.
“The song is about disconnecting or freeing yourself from anything that is toxic in your life, be it a relationship, friendship, or vice. I think a lot of people underestimate the power of letting go, and I think the song reinforces that.” –KLOUD
KLOUD recently blew the internet away during his electrifying performance during the BackHARD Summer BBQ Virtual Rave-A-Thon on the Insomniac TV livestream, which not only left viewers in complete awe, but also saw him putting “Disconnect” in action. The audiovisual spectacle helped further the KLOUD narrative, whose compelling backstory involves our robotic AI protagonist dedicating his entire existence to break free from the digital clutches of a controlling simulation built by a heinous corporation. Between his epic sci-fi storyline and top-notch musical output, the world can’t seem to get enough of KLOUD.
