Spinnin’ Records Asia continues its streak of popular releases with a fierce KSHMR edit of ‘My Bad’, originally released by K-pop star SHAUN and Korean progressive house duo Advanced. After the single already made waves last year, this new version features vocals of Norwegian singer-songwriter Julie Bergan, which works wonders across the productional wizardry of KSHMR.
Spinnin’ Records Asia started off in November 2019 with the widely acclaimed debut release ‘Feel The Light’ by BEAUZ. This was followed up by popular records from Ken Takano & Patrick Moreno, and the recent team-up between Indonesian actress/singer Prilly and Brazilian duo Selva.
The label’s mission is clear: present exciting Asian artists and bring them together with acts from the rest of the world. In that light, the newest release on Spinnin’ Records Asia is a perfect representation of what it’s all about.
On one side K-pop star SHAUN, known for his inviting songs (including ‘Way Back Home’ which so successfully turned into a worldwide hit in the Sam Feldt edit), and Korea’s up-and-coming progressive house duo Advanced. On the other side Spinnin’s big room maestro KSHMR, renowned for his innovative sound and global hits, who made an edit of both acts single ‘My Bad’, in this version featuring the impressive vocals of Julie Bergan.
Again, it’s a unique blend of artists, nationalities and music genres leading to an exciting record – taking the burgeoning label to impressive new heights.
“Different ideas float around and it gets really motivating when you have artists like KSHMR, Julie Bergan, and Advanced.” – SHAUN
“It’s not a common opportunity to be collaborating with artists from all different countries, so the collaboration itself is very creative and exciting. We’d love for everyone to enjoy this great work.” – Advanced
“I’m over the moon about collaborating with SHAUN & KSHMR! I absolutely love it when creative people come together, and it’s always really exciting when we can cross borders with it.” – Julie Bergan
