Les Plages Électroniques has come a long way since its first edition in 2006 and this year’s lineup is a testament to its growth. Following the first lineup announcement which included the likes of Tiesto, Peggy Gou, and Charlotte de Witte they have now expanded even further with more industry legends.
The diversity in styles from the new additions is fantastic with the mix of deep house and pop from Sam Feldt, Deron providing Latin house, and Anna bringing her textured techno rhythms. Amidst the newly announced artists are some fantastic local talents including Alex Wann, Sara Costa, Agoria, Louis Bekk, Claraa, and Marion Di Napoli. Not only is Les Plages Électroniques fielding local talent but they are also giving the new generation their chance to shine on the big stage.
Les Plages Électroniques is officially France’s biggest beach party attracting 60,000 people to the beautiful Cannes to see the world’s best DJs. It has grown from starting out as 5 nights of electronic music to being a fully-fledged 3-day festival that transforms the beach of the Palais des Festivals into an electronic music haven. The astonishing scenery and music has kept on bringing fans back and this year’s 18th edition of Les Plages Électroniques is set to be another jaw dropping event.
