Award-winning DJ and producer RUMPUS has been blowing up recently following the appearance of his track ‘Set It Off’ in the hugely popular HBO series ‘White Lotus.’ Looking to continue this momentum he is now releasing the incredibly diverse and intoxicating ‘Body Movin’’ EP.
The title track kicks off the EP with a bang having the infectious grooves that RUMPUS is a master at creating. The thick bass mixed with the Latin inspired drums creates a pulsating groove that draws you in and gets you moving. As the track goes on RUMPUS dials up the rave energy to eleven making for an emphatic floor shaking second chorus that leads into the second track ‘Party Favours.’ Artists often try to make unique blends of genres and RUMPUS has pulled off a blinder with a mix of tech house and acid that works beautifully. The track develops brilliantly from start to finish and while offering a very different sound to the opening track, the EP remains cohesive.
RUMPUS’ insane talent has caught the eyes of some of the biggest DJs in the world with the likes of Tiesto, Dom Dolla, and Anyma supporting his work. The track that’s been getting him a lot of attention is his viral edit of the iconic ‘Innerbloom’ by RÜFÜS DU SOL which is a production masterpiece. He’s also been turning heads with his astonishing hybrid DJ/Drum sets where he displays his punk rock drummer skills alongside his powerful productions.
