For Luxley, a musical composer, producer, graphic artist and photographer, the city has opened his eyes to new possibilities for his music. Guided by his chromesthesia, Luxley is able to allow his photography and musical compositions to play off of each other, creating new and interesting combinations. With his latest single, “Can’t Fool Me,” Luxley embraces his guitar playing roots and infuses this with a healthy dose of acid house.
While the single marks the start of an upcoming LP, “Can’t Fool Me” takes inspiration from one of Luxley’s past singles, “Take a Chance” from his earlier album, “Chromatics.” Building on the modern house motifs, his latest workplaces a greater influence on the vocals and making every layer shine through the mix.
