Nicky Romero and the Protocol Recordings crew can always be counted on for cutting-edge new music, melding a variety of genres for exciting and unexpected sounds. Their latest additions feel right at home to the imprint’s already robust mix while still pumping out plenty of classic progressive jams. Veteran producer Marc Benjamin has a reputable taste for impeccable productions, evidenced in his past successes with his previous collaborations with heavyweights Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, and Yves V, and his remixes of Zedd‘s worldwide hits ‘The Middle’ and ‘Happy Now’. He’s performed around the world, including Ultra Bali and a residency at Amsterdam’s club Escape, and released on Spinnin’ Records and Steve Angello‘s Size Records. Benjamin‘s dynamic productions have piqued the attention of industry heavyweights like Tiesto, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Steve Angello and Avicii, so we can’t wait to see what comes next from him as part of the Protocol Recordings family!
Marc Benjamin once again defends his title as the man of many music production skills with his new single ‘Hooked’ in collaboration with DNMKG, featuring F51. With its subdued, molten bass lines and completely groove-able melodies, ‘Hooked’ is a radio-friendly dance-pop crossover gem that’s equally suited to road trips and up-close-and-personal dances with someone special. The track is Marc Benjamin and fellow Dutchproducer’s DNMKG‘s third collaboration together and follows Marc‘s single ‘Fall For You’ from earlier this year. ‘Hooked’ is out now on Nicky Romero‘s Protocol Recordings, so press play and let Marc Benjamin heat things up!
