After enchanting the crowd with vocal-led singles such as ‘Million Miles’ and ‘Meet Again’ (feat. ANVY), Mark Sixma has gone and crafted up another one of those to spoil the crowd with. Today, the Dutch DJ and producer released ‘Paint The Sky’, a truly captivating record featuring Eline on vocals.
The perfect collision of golden vocals and melodic brilliance, Mark Sixma and Eline’s ‘Paint The Sky’ is a burst of color unlike any you’ve ever seen or heard before. Lighting up the world like fireworks in the dark of night, this track is a celebration of life sure to send fans into raptures.
Mark Sixma: “This is the third time I’ve worked together with the incredibly talented songwriters who were also responsible for ‘Million Miles’ and ‘Meet Again’. I listen to dozens of vocal demos on a weekly basis, but their vocals always stand out somehow. ‘Paint the Sky’ is no different. I fell in love with it the first time I heard it and I hope you will too!”
In between the long days in the studio and a globe-crossing string of shows, Mark Sixma is also an avid gamer. To combine his love for both music and gaming, and to celebrate the release of a new game called ‘DOOM Eternal’ on March 20, Mark Sixma paired up with American video game publisher Bethesda for a special competition, offering music artists the chance to send in their DOOM-inspired song to community_BLX@bethsoft.com before March 12. The winner, picked by a jury (incl. Mark Sixma and Bethesda) that factors in public vote as well, will be announced during a live stream at https://www.twitch.tv/bethesda_nl om March 19, 6 p.m. (CET). The grand prize: a copy of the DOOM Eternal Collector’s Edition and a meet and greet with Mark Sixma at the Bethesda Benelux office to play the game.
